a product that works
I purposely walked in tall grass for an extended period of time wearing the gaiters - not one tick.

Not a tick in sight
I used these while out in the field day after day and hand washed them when dirty. The mesh material is great even on a hot day. It has snagged due to tall grasses and prickers but I don't think it should stop them from doing the job - keeping ticks away! thanks!

These things really work
I bought one pair, used them on my legs, and no more tick problems except for the ones that crawled from stuff being pruned on up my arms. These items are advertised for legs. I have skinny forearms, but they work much better for me than the more expensive items that have to be velcro-fastened.

No ticks since using these.
It's tick season here in Minnesota. In fact, we live in the area with very high Lymes Disease. I have not seen a tick on me so far this year. I also use the permethrin socks and I permethrin soak my jeans and shirts. I had a Deer Tick stuck on me a few years ago and the Dr. said "you do NOT want to get Lymes Disease". He put me on antibiotics foe 3 weeks.

they worked but seem small
Im in the woods constantly, hiking, running. I hate tick and chigger bites. this prevents that. Just seem like it runs small? Im 5' 5" and cant imagine a 6'2" guy being able to stretch up to his knee...

Fragile
I like these for convenience and have not gotten any ticks while wearing them but they are fragile and will pull out in the woods. I have mended mine and that seems ok.

Simply do not work.
If there were zero stars, that's what I'd rate these silly things. In coastal Maryland, the ticks are probably no more ubiquitous than any other wooded area with a temperate climate. I bought these since I frequently work and play in those woods. Every time I wore these foolish things, I pulled ticks off my body, and not one or two, but many more. The most prevalent tick here is the 'seed' tick, about the size of a pinhead, and the gaiters do absolutely nothing to deter them, repel them or even slow them down. Save your money and lay in a supply of Lyme disease antibiotics. You're gonna need it.

Good product
Haven’t fought against tick a yet but we wear them outside in ankle high grass and bush. Provides assurance of protection.
