Eureka! Finally found lites with no plastic
The thing I like best about these tampons is that they are available!!! It is getting to be nearly impossible to find truly lite absorbency tampons that do NOT have plastic applicators. Tampax stopped selling lites with cardboard applicators in their own box. Although these do require digital insertion (use finger as applicator), I will gladly do it knowing that I am not contributing to non biodegradable waste in ocean!! Please continue selling these as their own box...many of us have lighter flows and do not want to just get a few light flow tampons as part of a multi-pack with a bunch of supers.

Excited? Yes!
It's so hard to find light tampons. I love the organic chemical free options from Cora. Plus, I've never seen a lite tampon without the applicator before. These are super tiny! I know this sounds weird, but I can't wait to try it. Mostly because I'm a petite lady and I often remove tampons early because they feel uncomfortable (due to a bad insertion). I'm hoping this size will prevent me from removing tampons early because they aren't inserted into a comfortable position.

These Work!
I was hesitant to buy these when I read some reviews that said these had no removal string. THESE DO HAVE A REMOVAL STRING. It is coiled up in the bottom of the tampon, and you just have to pull it out before inserting. That being said, after trying many different tampons, these are the best! I really like how the order comes with 3 boxes, making it easy to manage different rates of flow on different days. Also, these expand widthwise, so they are very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Poor leak protection :/
I’ve attached a photo of the difference in size between this brand and an OB “regular”. These are significantly smaller in size. They leak very easily for me which is frustrating. The tampon was barely catching any blood and just everything else was going through.Maybe these would work better for a younger person (like a teenager or preteen?). Not for me. I won’t be buying more - which sucks because I really wanted to like these.

I wanted so badly to like these :(
After ive learned the toxicity of regular tampons and switched to the diva cup and just couldn't figure it out. I wanted to love these so badly. They were pretty comfortable , I didn't mind the nonsteing part yet. Just kinda insert it, i thought "HOORAY, I found my magic tampon!" unfortunately, I was wrong. The first one I used, tore apart as I was removinging from use.Definitely NOT what you want from a tampon, especially one that already doesn't have a string. Not comfortable at all pinching parts of the tampon out.

I was really skeptical about these but...
At first they seemed expensive but, after comparing to all the other organic tampons I've tried, they're basically the same price. Maybe even a bit cheaper. Also at first glance, I laughed at the size of the light size. It's tiny! I couldn't imagine what use I would have for those now that I'm dealing with mid-forties periods. It turns out that I use them every month during the last few days. So much more comfortable! Coras are really comfortable in general. The absorbency may not be as quite as good as other brands but the quality is high. They're easy to unwrap, there's never loose cotton fluff hanging off of them, and did I mention they're easy to unwrap? That's usually a huge pet peeve for me. Periods are hard enough. Don't make us fumble around for an invisible plastic tab on top of it.

Pretty good, not perfect
Overall in terms of reducing waste/environmental footprint--these Cora non-applicator tampons are good, not great. (see reasoning below)Pros:-super soft & easy to apply (doesn't rub or feel uncomfortable at all!)-you'll be shocked by how much these tiny things can absorb--for reference, each one un-used is about the size of a bullet!Cons:-since I was attempting to reduce my waste from tampons, I was a bit disappointed to discover each one of these tampons is wrapped in an individual plastic covering. But if comparing these to a typical tampon with huge plastic applicator & plastic wrapper, these will definitely reduce your waste, but NOT eliminate it completely. So I think these are a step in the right direction for those who are reluctant to try "menstrual cups", etc.Maybe in the future Cora will re-think the individual plastic wrapping, but for now, I will be sticking with these as I still feel these produce much less waste than any other tampons on the market, and are super comfortable while getting the job done!

Unfortunately many flaws
Not absorbant enough. It leaks way before it's full. And I dislike that the boxes are different sizes, it would be easier to store if they were all the same. And I wish the different sizes were color coded on the tampon wrapper. It's hard to quickly tell the size of a single tampon.
