HIGH5Energy Bar Real Fruits Soft Bar No Artificial Sweeteners (Coconut, 25 x 55g)

Been looking for an energy bar for a while that I could use prior to training and during exercise without causing stomach discomfort or sweet leaving tastes in the mouth drying it out. This bar definitely fits the bill and the energy level is noticeable between using and not using these. I tend to use these with the turbo trainer when sessions are over 1 hour and it makes a big difference. They taste pretty good too.

These are absolutely bursting with flavour and give a real shot of fruity energy when you need it. Make sure you have some fluids with you because these are really dense. The hit of fruit and yogurt is immediate. As good as anything out there but a lot cheaper than some.

This is a high sugar tasty energy bar that I eat occasionally on long runs (10 miles plus) along with gels. There are around 200 calories per bar and it is a third sugar. It is necessary to drink a fair amount of water (e.g. 200ml) when eating this to make digestion easier. They don’t easily fit into a running race number belt and weigh the belt down. I don’t eat the whole bar in one go, rather I eat a third or so every 5 minutes for 15 minutes. I would suggest eating a high starch food rather than this bar before a long run so as to avoid a sugar spike.

I love these bars, use them on long bike rides, taste great and are easy to chew and swallow. I have tried others like the banana flavour and the peanut one, but its the yoghurt coating that i think really does it. Really do get a good energy boost ftom them.

Convenient however taste is just not enjoyable.

Use these when cycling. They are tasty and give a good fix of energy when needed. Small enough to easily carry in your pocket during exercise.

Order them months ago with no issues. Reordered them 3 months later but the new order has the same expired date as the previous order. Under 10 months!
