Yassk Reusable Straws 9 inch Telescopic Drinking Stainless Steel Metal Straws with Sliding Case & Cleaning Brush (Violet)

The media could not be loaded.  Restaurants are no longer providing straws in our area. So, I purchased this straw in a little purse-case to use when we're out. So far it's working great. It comes in two sections that you just twist together, then you pull the two sections apart and it telescopes to the length you need for the size glass you're using. When you think about it, this is better than a plastic straw due to this length adjustment feature. Most importantly, the straw does not leak air. I was concerned that a joint in the middle might leak air into each sip - but it's perfectly tight right now. I'll report back if it starts bleeding air through the joint. The little cleaner brush - nice that they included it, but likely insufficient for keeping the whole inside of the straw perfectly clean. I use my regular full-length straw cleaner brush that I use for our water bottle straws - I bought a 5 pack of those cleaners for about $3 somewhere a while back. The straw comes with little silicone ends, which I think for ME are important. I have a full set of metal straws with no tips and always worry about biting down and damaging my teeth. The sellers provide a total of 4 sets of tips with the straw - which should last practically forever since silicone lasts so long. The case is working great right now. It has a little spring that allows one-hand access to the straw. I'm leaving my spare tips in a drawer at home and the straw fits nicely with tips installed for quick twist together and use.
