This is a great pan. Easy to use! Shipped quicklyI used it to make a Unicorn (not my best attempt).But pan is sturdy and makes decorating so easy!!Details are hard to see once baked, but most of all the "character" pans are like thatI would highly recommend the pan and would buy it again if needed

I have never decorated a cake like this before. The pan worked well and there are pretty detailed instructions included. Here are some tips.-make sure to use a cake release (the standard 1/3 vegetable oil, 1/3 shortening, 1/3 flour worked great)-the cake will want to rise in the middle, so make sure you have it spread to all the edges, like the ears-the directions will have you cut off the raised middle to make the cake flat when you flip it (and not crack the top. That really helped.-there is a 2 minute video on YouTube (search Wilton Unicorn Cake) that helped me with some of the details-the instructions show that you need tons of icing tips. You really only need a couple, a fine line tip, a small star tip, and a bigger stat type tip for the mane.Hope this helps and good luck.

Cake turned out great; didn’t stick to the pan. Comes with instructions on how to decorate for beginners.

My daughter is completely obsessed with horses, so this was the perfect cake for her birthday. This was my first cake that I made that wasn't in a simple 9x13 pan that I left in the pan to frost. I used Wilton cake release, so I didn't have a problem taking it out of the pan. It has indentations as a guide for decoration, which look very obvious on the pan, but on the finished cake, it wasn't quite obvious. It came with a booklet that had decoration tips and photos. My daughter has never been so happy about a cake!

Worked great, baked evenly. Word of caution, required more than 1 box and less than 2 of cake mix to properly fill pan.

I just used this baking pan and I was amazed how easy the cake came out!! Great pan !! And the unicorn shape is super fun for the grandkids !!

This pan help me create an adorable product for a child’s birthday. It holds one box mix, and it released the cake with no problem at all after I greased it. The directions were easy to understand, and the pattern was easy to see. It definitely serves more than 12 if you slice it down the middle and then cut small slices from there.

It’s very cute & turned out well, I hadn’t done a character cake for over 30 years but it turned out good, it didn’t stick (I did use lard & flour to coat) & it came out easy. It takes 5 cups to fill & one cake box gave 4 cups so I did a pan of mini cupcakes, but it was loved by the birthday girl

Bought this cake tin for my daughters birthday. Followed the information given by Brenda on here for cake mix but in larger quantities as the instructions say you need 5 cups of mixture I used:- 6 small eggs 12oz Self raising flour 12oz Caster sugar 12oz Stork margarine 3oz Coco powderThis was 5 cups exactly and filled the tin well. I cooked it at 165 fan oven for around 35/40mins, the ears were catching so I covered them in foil while the rest of the cake cooked. I had used melted butter put on with a brush and dusted with flour to grease the tin (thank you Brenda) and both the trial and actual birthday cake came out with no problems.For the icing I made one large batch 300g butter to 450g icing sugar then I split as the instructions stated to colour. I am not normally a person who ices other than to cover in buttercream so only had a handful of icing nozzles . I was pretty pleased with the results as was my daughter.I would definitely recommend this tin, it is light but doesn't feel unstable when loaded, washes well and makes a grand cake.

J'ai fait 1 quatre quart crème patissiere avec ce moule et au vu des commentaires de certains acheteurs, j'appréhendais fortement le démoulage... Mais je n'ai eu aucun souci, celui - ci s'est démoulé sans problème. (Un petit conseil pour celles qui ont eu des problèmes, beurrez généreusement le moule +chapelure!) Le rendu est tellement parfait que la déco devient très facile! Ma fille fan de chevaux était ravie...
