WiltonPerformance Pans Square Cake Pans Set, 3 Piece - 8, 12 and 16-Inch Cake Pans

so they are great pans, i had to return this order only because i was dumb and did not notice how big they were. lol. i didnt not the 16 one when i ordered it.

Perfect pans! Of course they are large and will twist slightly if not supported with the heavy cake batter. However I’m please with them! Grease or spray non stick, use parchment paper!!! Let cool down to room temperature, place on board and flip… easy! Perfect pan. However, batter and cooking times not provided. I did google and found 18-21 cups of batter and 300/325*F for 55-65 minutes. I also used Wilton’s fabric wrap around that soaked in water to keep cake level. (Forgot the name of item but they were well worth it and held on to place in oven.) The angled sides made placement of moist strips a challenge but angle helped with the ease of cake removal. So that is a PLUS. Love my new pans!

Quality wise, these pans are pretty awesome. They're thick and sturdy, but not too heavy. Like another reviewer, I didn't like that the corners were a bit round since I was doing a fondant cake too, but I ended up just cutting off one edge to get a sharp edge. I lost about 1/2 an inch of cake, so not that big a deal.The main problem I had with them was that I had a terrible time getting the cakes out of the 12" pan, which is the only one I've used so far. After the first two stuck badly, I really went heavy on the shortening and flour coating and that one popped out nicely, so you have to be very thorough in that task.There is a indentation in the middle of the larger pans and I'm not sure what the purpose of that is, but I did find it annoying. I wish there was a fill line instead of a middle square. I also found that the cake temperature and baking times provided by Wilton simply didn't work for me. Just go with the tried and true toothpick test and you'll be fine, baking an extra 5 minutes each test until you arrive at a good time to follow later. I had to add about 15 minutes.Probably the best thing about the pans though is ease of washing. I didn't really want to try putting them into the dishwasher, so I hand washed it each time and the cake came away very easily. I have a dark pan and a glass one and getting those clean is a nightmare.

I was so excited just a few mins ago to get my pans because I am suppose to be making a huge birthday cake and needed these. But unfortunately when I opened the box yes I was happy and then started taking off the clear wrap and I picked the set up and I cut my finger and ended up with a small metal shaving in my finger. Seriously why send this set with bottom with a deep cut This is going back and no more buying pans again.

Nice pans. Not particularly thick, but of decent quality. I bought this set because I needed a 12"x12" pan. Unfortunately, the measurements are for the bottom of the pans. They measure almost an inch wider at the top. The pans flare out a bit, so the 12x12 pan is just shy of being 13x13 around the top edge. Bummer, because it's too wide for my needs. Actually, the bottom measurements of all three pans are slightly smaller than listed, and again, they are also all approx. an inch wider at the top than is mentioned in the listing.

I was nervous to get because of some of the negative reviews about packaging, but they’ve obviously listened and resolved that issue. They came in perfect condition and well packaged.

These pans are fantastic, as Wilton pans always are. I love that when I bake a flavored cake (lemon, pineapple, strawberry,etc.) the light-colored aluminum keeps the edges from getting overly brown (which always happens in a dark metal pan). The largest pan is really unbelievably large; unsuitable for regular baking but great for wedding cakes, which is what I have am using this set for. The only problem I had with the purchase is that it was shipped in a much too large box and it clearly got banged around a bit in shipping because one side of the largest pan was dented in. But my husband was able to punch the dents out and it works ok now.

They arrived in great condition no dents or bent out of shape. I washed them and let them air dry and had no issues. I havent used them yet but I also got another set of round Wilton pans and the cakes came put beautiful. I feel like these would give the same results

Entrega puntual, precio aceptable calidad venía con un pequeñísimo golpe un molde por eso no le dí todas las estrellas. Y no lo regrese por que era apenas visible.

Flimsy compared to the Crowne pans I buy. One was bent but, the pan pliable enough to reshape and be useful. Otherwise they are fine.

Quick shipping, packaged well. The biggest pan is going to be a challenge to find something to make in because its huge. Like, gigantic. The reviewer who called it a coffee table was not kidding :) I have used the smaller two a few times now. Don't use metal utensils, scratched easily but it is aluminum. All in all good buy though!

Its a Christmas gift so not sure yet how good they are but arrived quickly and look really nice and they are a good size!!
