Paper Scissors Glue: 45 Fun and Creative Papercraft Projects for Kids Hardcover – January 1, 2010

My four year old and I really enjoy this book. Within 24 hours of buying the book, we made a few alligators. We tried making the whale origami (featured on the cover), but it wasn't even close to the image of the finished project... we'll have to try that one again! But, overall, the crafts are very appropriate for 4-7 year olds. Caveat - you do need to enlarge the patterns on a copier (200%) - so unless you have access to a copier with larger sized paper, you won't be able to begin right away (my guess is that 75% of the crafts require the patterns provided). This is a good book to assist with understanding the concept of patterns, tracing, cutting, etc. I highly recommend this book.

I bought this book specifically because I was looking for craft projects that can be made with just a pack of construction paper and a bottle of glue. That's not what I got. Nearly every project in the book requires additional materials--everything from chenille stems to wiggly eyes to rickrack to dowel rods. Certainly, the projects are cute and kid-friendly, and the additional materials aren't anything too expensive or hard to find. But it's not what I was looking for and not what the title implies.

Awesome projects! Super easy to find all the ingredients since mostly it is paper scissors and glue just like the title says. My daughter is 6 and she has been very happy to do all of the projects we've picked so far.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson. So far he has completely ignored it.It may be good, but I have no way to tell.

We had previously checked this book out form the library and decided we wanted to own it.

Thi book is a winner. I saw some old childhood favourites; Instructions and pictures clear. These ideas generated a great deal of fun and enthusiasm from grandson. We will takle the paper mache pig next!

Project directions are clear and well-illustrated. There is good variety in the projects so that kids of different ages and enthusiasms are likely to find some that they want to pursue.

I first borrowed this book from my local library when I was asked to run a craft activity one weekend and it supplied me with several fun and easy to make ideas which I was able to adapt and make suitable for the theme I was working with. The orginal ideas are really neat and well explained and the presentation is colourul and appealing. I've bought a copy of this book for my sister and my nephews as it's coming up to winter and more days will be spent indoors; with activities suitable for up to 10 year olds I sure it's going to get a lot more use. I'd recommend this book to mums, aunties, dads, uncles, grandmas and grandads who are looking to keep little ones entertained for an hour or two and to anyone who runs activity groups for young ones.This book is priceless for inspiration.

Son loved this.Was brought as a present as we borrowed from the library for something to do in the evenings while on holiday and we needed one to keep all the timewould recommend to anyone with kids alot of the projects are really easy to do

This was ordered for my daughter who raves about it. she says it has loads of child centred activities for a good range of ages

Neither my daughter or myself appreciated this book. It's not as inspiring as others and some of the ideas are overly simplistic and not really aesthetically pleasing. It seems a little bit outdated.

I bought this book for my five year old grandaughter, she is having great fun with it. (So is her Mum).
