Q: is this motor similar to the somfy 550 motor mo

Not at All. this one (535) has less torque (35N.m) than the 550 (50N.m). In other word, the 535 may not be striong enough to close your system if you are replacing a 550. Alors this version of the 535 is RTS, that means radio controlled with 3 wires on the power cord. The 550 CMO is not RTS and has 4 wires in the power cord to be hardwired to a wall switch. If you are replacing a existing motor I will strongly recommend to contact us with a picture of the label of your motor, we will help you finding the correct one.

Q: How do you program to existing remote?

after pluging the motor press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons on the transmitter simultaneously. Then Release both buttons after the end-product jogs briefly UP and DOWN indicating that this transmitter can operate the motor during programming.

Q: How long is the cord?

The default cord on this motor is 6feet. If you are replacing an existing rts cmo motor. You could easily transfer the old cord to the new motor. Else longer cord are also for sell. Feel free to contact us for more informairon

Q: Remote is included ir not??

Good evening. No the remote control is not included, same for the accessories because it depends of the application of the motor. That is said, if you are replacing an existing motor, you can reuse everything.
