Great theme and fun to learn about.

I've looked at this book for several years and am so glad to have finally gotten it for my children and me. It's beautifully illustrated and full of great concepts and language about the animals of nature.

My granddaughter was very taken and intrigued by the book, leading to great discussion. The illustrations are wonderful. Good purchase.

I loved the series especially because i teach science. Picked up all three books: under the sun, when rain falls, and under the snow. I liked that realistic images were used and simple words to make ideas clear. Made the kids feel like they went on an adventure outside even if was only in their minds.

Just received this book yesterday. Both my 2 & 5 year old loved it. Features a wide variety of animals and how they take cover when it rains.
