Works great. Kill your time in half. Be very careful. If you buy this machine. Got to buy and always use on the hand that's holding the fish. If you don't you care grind off your hand. Really scare if you even think of buy this with out none cut glove.

This is a really good fish scaler for the price, but there are a few things to be aware of. My previous scaler had plastic tines, which were much safer than the metal tines on this scaler. The metal tines really make short work of the fish scales, but will also cut the flesh if too much pressure is applied. More importantly, those tines will also rip off a fingernail if you get too close to your hand, speaking from experience. Be sure to use a glove on the hand not holding the scaler. Other than those issues, it works well and the battery lasts forever. I scaled 49 fish the first use, and that was with a partially charged battery. Great unit for the price, just use appropriate safety precautions.

This product is as described, but as is mentioned be very careful. The blades spin fast and will cut anything it touches. It is better for large fish such as bass, is to dangerous to use on small fish like bluegill.

Scaling fish. I would use a knife to hold fish down. You need your fingers
