Burled Highly Figured Walnut Pen Blanks - 3/4" x 3/4" x 5" (5 Pcs)

Great wood at a great price. Unlike most other purchasers, I did not purchase these for use as pen blanks. I bought them to make a floating/loose tray/floor inside a wooden box for a Kent beard brush, which must be stored bristle-side down. They are exactly perfect, and look gorgeous. Did not do a thing to them--used them as they arrived. Could not possibly be happier. Exactly what I needed.

This is my second batch of Walnut Burl pen blanks. The grain is outstanding and the quality of the wood is fine. The pens made from this wood are beautiful and deserve quality pen kits.

Two of the five blanks had mild figuring. Three of the blanks had only mild grain variation and did not appear to be burl. I was hoping for something a bit closer to the blanks in the photo.

These are decent blanks for the price but only one of the blanks I received is marginally what I would call "Highly Figured."

These blanks have nice grain patterns and make great looking pens.

I turn about 200 pens a year to sell at craft events. I recently did a review of my sales and found that the figured walnut tends to sell out in one show. I am reordering for a second time from this source. I actually found the request for review while looking for the previous order to purchase more.

These are great blanks at a fair price. I would buy again
