AmeriColorSoft Gel Paste Food Color, 4.5-Ounce, Regal Purple

Just the right color for my cookies. This brand is my go to for food coloring.

I always use americolor gel food coloring and wanted to try something other than violet. This regal purple is beautiful. Great value, doesn't leave a taste, came in the package nice and clean and no leaking.

This is a great shade of purple and AmeriColor is always dependable.

I use this to color the eventual expelled product of drinking fluids in a human body (outside of a fremen stillsuit, lol) because people don’t freak in parking lots when I dump it. Purple works best: red for example makes orange and through stimulus generalizations is likely to still be perceived with disgust. Blue is not good because few drinks are green. Purple is perfect. I also use Lavender scented oil to make it smell good. Please close your jaw. People who live in their cars write reviews too. I wish I didn’t have to, believe me. Thanks.The consistency is good because it won’t leak and it’s easy to work with in your car without spilling. The easy-open cap is secure. The color density is enough that 1 cm of product squeezed out makes a dark purple quart.

Gets the job done.

I was nervous about switching away from my regular purple, which was the Wilton Neons, that only come in the little tiny bottles. But I wanted a bigger bottle and so I read reviews and looked at various brands and shades. I'm so glad I picked this one. It gives a gorgeous bold royal purple if you use enough of it, and lighter shades look great too, if you want to use less.

Love the americolor colours! I've been using Wilton colours for years, but have now replaced all my colours with these. The colors are so vibrant using only a tiny bit.
