So far, after 3 days rod is still holding! (others lasted less than 24 hours @ best) Used for main bathroom. Recently had bathroom remodeled( carpenter still have some edging to finish) including new wall tiles which are a shiny, slick surface, which made other rods I tried hard to stay on the tile. We recently had company over, & wouldn't you know it, as company arrived, shower curtain rod w/curtain & liner came crashing down! I just had to leave it down & warned anyone who asked to use the restroom what they would see!😶 At least they got to see my new bathroom tile & faucets! 😊 (I just decided to leave it down all together until I could find one that would stay) the thick rubber grips on each ends of this rod seem to make all the difference! & might I add , the liner is not just the regular light weight plastic, it's thicker, which adds more weight, which is more convincing to me that it won't slip & fall. 🌹

Looks expensive, well made, and it hasn't fallen down which happens sometimes with tension rods (I should mention that I am not using this for a bathtub, so I don't know how it performs when it's in a wet environment.). So far , am happy with my purchase.

Have had this for over a year and a half. It hasn't rusted and looks as good as new. Up to this point it's the best shower rod I have ever owned.

This product took a few minutes to figure out how to install, however, once it locked in place it was very easy. It looks very nice on the room and feels very secure.

Normally, cheap shower rods rust instantly. This hasn’t rusted at all, and the shower curtain hooks glide across extremely well. Definitely a great find.

I love the color of this curtain rod. Unfortunately, they didn't have it in the size that I needed so I ended up getting a loner one in chrome.

UPDATE: I followed some reviewers advice and cleaned the tiles and the ends with alcohol wipes. So far it’s staying.Not even 4 months has passed since it’s been up and it fell, twice. Will no longer twist tight, automatically untwists. My arms were tired trying to fix it without success.

This is the best curtain rod I have ever had, and I'm old. It went up easily and has stayed up very well.

Far too small not what advertised

I decided to spend more on a shower curtain rod this time. The decision seems to have paid off so far. This product has been holding up for a few months now, definitely better materials and a strong spring mechanism that holds firmly. I haven’t had to reposition or adjust at all yet. Will try to update in a few more months.The merchant was really great to deal with…there was a mixup with my order. They were very gracious and accommodating. Will definitely order from them again if I see something I need. Very happy with this purchase!UPDATE: February 2023, the curtain rod is still stable - hasn’t fallen or lost its hold from over a year ago when first installed 👍

It's great, it just falls down from time to time. I think it's our fault, but even when we had a contractor in and he installed it, it still fell down after a couple months. I still recommend it, as it looks amazing, it is durable, and I imagine if you're not worried about breaking your tile like we are you could make it stay.

La pole est très ordinaire pour le prix et à été très longue à arriver. Nous en avons commandé une autre sur Amazon moins cher et qui fait très bien la Job. La pole est toujours dans la boîte et est intouchée mais le vendeur ne veut pas la reprendre. Faites attention!! Si vous n’êtes pas sûr à 200% que la taille, la couleur ou l’article en soi fera votre affaire c’est mieux de ne pas commander sinon vous resterez pris avec !!

Admittedly, I'm using this tension rod as a curtain rod due to the odd setup my apartment has. It's been 3 days since I've set it up. I purchased the max. extension of 73" and my windows is 72".If you're intent is to use the max capacity, I'd recommend requesting assistance as the length and needing to twist to make it study makes it nigh impossible to arrange on one's own.This supports the weight of 4 lightweight, "mesh" material curtains with ease.This was pretty expensive for what it is, but I wanted a gold rod for aesthetic purposes and it doesn't looks cheap, so it's nice for decor purpose.
