i like the vents right at your nose area. doesnt fog the screen like other hats. the side windows are nice for seeing things in motion around you while welding

My 9100FX broke so I bought this to replace it. The filter fits in it perfectly (I had asked the question but got no response so I bought it anyways to try) I like this hood much better than the FX, it's much lighter, has better coverage and stays in the up position much better due to its lighter weight. I got the FX because I thought the flip up filter would be handy, turned out I rarely used it, my hood wouldn't stay up and it was too heavy (front heavy while welding straining my neck). I should have gone with this one from the get go.The only thing I don't like about this set up (not the hood itself but the filter) is that you have to manually turn it on. I'm use to my Millere Digital Elite so there's a "learning curve".

Husband is a welder, dripped his hood from 100+ feet a few times, if ally cracked the side on the second time, it was still usable, but let just a little crack of light in. Went looking for just a replacement hood, found this. BEST price for the hood. Will buy from again. Fast shipping, great replacement hood. Now hopefully he doesn't drop this one.

Exactly what it was suppose to be except the price. At the welding store it was half the price so a little bummed out. But that’s our problem for bot pricing first

My headgear adjustment tab was snapped off when the wind blew a curtain over and it hit me in the head. I was concerned that my lens wouldn’t fit in a replacement helmet. Everything went back together perfectly.

Very comfortable light weight I love the hood!

It does NOT have a glass. Without it you will be better off with the motocycle helmet. Do not buy it!
