GEDORE6712070 8316-160 TL Power Side Cutter 160 mm, dip-Insulated

I have the Gedore combination pliers and was very satisfied with the cutters so I bought these as well. They cut just as well, much better than any of the much more expensive Knipex cutting tools I’ve purchased in the past. They also cut better than NWS pliers that I have owned. I’ll be purchasing Gedore from now on.

Perfect alignment of the cutters, and the pivot is nice and tight. I've bought other brands where the pivot starts a little loose and gets worse with use. I expect these to last a very long time. Note: I also bought a couple of pairs of the 200mm size. Both of those had side to side slop in the pivot. 160mm are perfect.

In the electrical trade we have a different name for these but they are comparable quality wise to Knipex and Klein. Mine were made in Austria and had blue handles.

Precisely made, joint not tight yet no play. The only annoying thing is seeing vine voices getting them for free. Give some to me free.

Good hybrid of Knipex and Klien. Didn't care for the more blunt nose of knipex cutters, and these have a much more pointed nose that I'm used to, i.e. Klien. Quality is great, joint is smooth and enough mass to feel solid under pressure cutting copper or stripping back wires.

Nice diagonal cutters, made in Austria. Seem to cut well, similar quality to Klein.

Handles are baby blue NOT red...F.Y.I. Superior Quality from Austria at a bargain price too.

As another reviewer noted, the set I received had blue handles. They are extremely well made, as good or better than Knipex. Good value for the price.
