They really do make a difference !!
Listen, I’m not a hairdresser so I don’t know how or why these make a difference but they just do! I use dark brown demi permanent dye with a 10 developer (from Sally’s) to dye my grey roots. I add about 5 or 6 of these drops to the bowl as I’m mixing it all up. It will turn the contents in the bowl an ORANGEY RED which is disconcerting when you’re dying your hair brown LOL but rest assured, I have never had my hair turn orange with these. Adding these drops helps the dye penetrate the greys so much more.

I was having difficulty with coloring my GREY.So I used this product (approx. 10 drops) and started coloring in the back of my head and worked forward.It came out-perfect!

It helps get hair roots to accept color.
This product came highly recommended, so I tried it. My hair is naturally white and the shampoo in color that i have used for years will leave my roots faintly colored while the rest of my hair comes out too dark. After a couple shampoos the ends lighten up to a good color but the roots are just pale. I tried this product and my roots did take more color but still not close to the rest of my hair. I will keep trying it and maybe use a few more drops. The only time my hair taks color better is just after a perm.

Turns lighter hair red. Do Not Use!!!!!
This is only good if you have darker hair. Do notTouch this if you have light hair or tend to pull reds. There should be a massive disclaimer about this on the box. This could literally ruin ash and neutral shades. Look at the photo at what it did to my expensive salon quality 8 silver blonde color.

Stubborn Gray's will be Quivering at the Root!
I have the overly dry curly gray hair that's been sprouting up all over my head since my early 20's. It's springy unlike the rest of my soft wavy hair and so dye resistant that I almost gave up on trying to ever cover it up. I used Gray Magic for the first time last weekend and I already see a HUGE difference. I can usually see my gray's trying to shine back through within just a couple of days and here we are almost a week in and my color is still holding. For dark haired individuals - I highly recommend this product.

I add to my box color formula...
This seems to help in covering my grays. I'm 64 and use a box color mix and simply add drops of this to the formula. I'll keep repurchasing.
