Taste is ok, Just a little too salty
Just a little too salty. Made a broth out of it and put it in the sauce that I made and also a chicken soup.

Delicious
So delicious! I have already used it for multiple meals, including butternut squash bisque this week. I’m beyond happy with the taste and quality.

Good flavor
This is a bottle of flavored bone broth concentrate. Ingredients for the beef and turmeric flavor are: beef bone extract, salt, turmeric, ginger, black pepper. The label suggests that one serving is 1 tsp or 5 ml. The labels are not standard for the US so the product probably isn’t legal for sale in the US as currently packaged. A 5 ml serving might weigh 5 gm (that’s a guess). If so, one serving provides 12 calories, 0.8 gm fat, 1.8 gm protein, 0 g carbs, and 900 mg sodium. The label also suggests that 10 gm is one serving and that one jar contains 35 servings. The jar contains 375 gm, which would be 37.5 ten gm servings, or 75 five gm servings, so none of this adds up, which is why the label isn’t legal for sale in the US. The product was manufactured in Australia.I like the flavor of this beef broth. It is pleasant for sipping, and very easy to make. Just plop a spoonful of the concentrate into hot water and stir. The turmeric flavor definitely comes through loud and strong. If you like turmeric, then the flavor will be appealing. If you’re not a fan of turmeric, you might want to try a different flavor. Overall, this is a convenient snack that is reasonably healthy (but high in sodium).

A strong taste that I like, even if others may not
This is a classic example of reviewing food products: Such reviews really are a matter of personal taste. When my wife and I saw this jar available for review via the VINE program, we were happy to do so. We enjoy either soup or broth or chowder a couple of times each week. Also, we've seen bone broths used on TV cooking shows. We were game to try this.Truth is: I really enjoy the strong and, yes, the salty taste of this bone broth. I'm happy to consume it simply as mixed out of the jar. Of course, you can do more with this broth. You can add vegetables, meat, noodles, rice, etc., whatever you might normally do to prepare home-made soups. The 5 stars on our review reflects my real enjoyment of this flavor. However, my wife doesn't care for it as much and, like other reviewers, she points out the salt content gives her pause. So, give a taste yourself. I'm happy to give it 5 stars and recommend you try it. If you're like me, you'll order more. If you're like my wife, you'll feel you've had enough with one try.

Good Flavor, A Little Salty, Under $1.00 Per Cup If Used As A Drink, Adds Flavor To Soups
I really don't know much about bone broths so this was a first for me. I've never made one myself anyway. First I tried just making a cup of bone broth to drink and that was great on a cold winter day. The beef flavor was the strongest, it tastes a bit salty but not overly so and the remaining flavors blend together for an interesting mix. The title in this product listing says 37 servings while the description says 35. Either way it seems like it would be right around that range. Just heat up some water in a kettle and mix in some of the bone broth concentrate. It's super quick and easy. From time to time I make a mushroom soup with sauteed onions and garlic, some butter, dried and fresh mushrooms and then add barley to thicken it up some. Usually i just use the jugs of chicken or beef stock from the grocery store but decided to make my own stock (super easy with this!) and use that instead. When using the store bought stock sometimes I'll add a bunch of shrimp to it as well. I wasn't sure how the flavor of this would mix with shrimp so I skipped the shrimp. It worked as well if not better than anything I've gotten from the grocery store in the past. The turmeric, ginger and black pepper in this are not things I usually add to mushroom soup when I make it. They didn't come through overly strong but were definitely there more in the form of notes than strong flavors. They did blend well with the flavor of the mushrooms. I think the garlic and herb version this company makes would potentially go better with the recipe I use since garlic and onions are already part of the soup ingredients but the turmeric and ginger I really liked too. It was just a bit different.Overall, this seems like an excellent bone broth at least coming from someone who typically uses the "stock boxes" in the grocery store. For making soup, this comes out to be a bit more expensive than some stocks in the grocery store but it seems like you are getting a much better and higher quality product here.I can't comment on the health claims in the listing but as for taste, quality and value, this is a great bone broth.

tasty, turmeric forward, salty. Makes for nice sipping broth, just be mindful of sodium
Taste profile is as such: Turmeric, Salt, hint of beef. If you want a more dynamic layered flavor, then add in some additional spices. Think of this as a base, and build it up if you so desire. If you like turmeric drinks, this is pretty good as is. When mixed with hot water it takes on a "turmeric milk" appearance. As a concentrate, the texture is more like a gravy. I love sipping broths, and rarely make my own anymore (slow cooking bones). I prefer a less salty broth, but low sodium, no sodium are hard to come by. The labeling on this is tricky. The sodium is listed as grams rather than milligrams. So just keep in mind that 18 grams (per 100 gram serving) is 18,000 milligrams. 1.8 grams (per 10 gram serving) is 1800 milligrams. 67,500 mg per container. Most broth bases, bouillions, cubes, etc tend to be a 2 tsp serving. This is about accurate here. While not a true measurement swap (weight vs volume), the rough estimate is about 4-5 grams per teaspoon. So since the smaller measurement on this jar is for 10 grams, that would lend to the 2 tsp serving. SO figure 2 tsp=1800 mg of sodium. Maybe I am wrong. But if you are watching your intake, BE CAREFUL!Overall, I like it. I have enjoyed some small mugs of broth mid morning to help warm me up. I intend to make some quick soups with it, and I can see using it to flavor other dishes. But my main interest is as a sipping broth, and this very much works for that.

Take care with blood pressure
I LOVE the taste of this product & have been using it for about 6 months now, drinking 2 - 3 cups per day & adding it to soups & stews. It’s delicious & the health benefits of drinking bone broth are steeped in history. Finally I found a product so I didn’t have to make my own, which is extremely time consuming. Unfortunately, I didn’t realise until recently, this is VERY high in salt per serving, more than double the others available & massively more than in my home made version. I always have my blood pressure checked every six months and this last time it has become raised. I am genuinely sad that I cannot use this product. I emailed the manufacturer to enquire if could they make a reduced salt version as I’m sure this does not just affect me & we are all advised these days to reduce salt intake, but they said they wouldn’t be doing. If they do decide to cut the salt I will be the first in the queue to buy it & give it 5 stars. Enjoy this but be aware!

I wonder if it's doing me good
It is extremely salty, so I have to flavour it with herbs, as I do not like salt at the best of times.I just hope it is doing me good, it certainly does not seem to have boosted my immunity.I have had some kind of virus for two weeks, it started with a very sore, painful throat, progressed to my chest, now I have a full blown infection. Perhaps I should lay off the brothand see what happens.

Expensive, but have to say, it's soooo good.
I simply use this product as a lunchtime soup. It just tastes so savoury and wholesome. Very warming and filling. It's easy to prepare; just like an instant coffee!! It is a tad on the pricey side. However, it lasts about a month and works out at about a £1 per drink, so really that's way cheaper than a coffee at the cafe. I purhased this because of gut issues with low thyroid and I can honestly say IT HAS HELPED.

turmeric version tasty
Tastes much better than other reviewers said, very drinkable and nice tasting. Great alternative to other hot drinks I have in a day.If it does what it is suggested it does then an added bonus.1 tbsp per large cup makes a lovely broth and the turmeric isn't overpowering.

Brilliant for breaking a fast .
I've bought this product for health purposes and read a lot of reviews for different brands before I chose this one. The taste is not as bad as I'd thought it would be, however, I do find myself enjoying it more if I dont smell it. I use it to break a fast and I feel far less bloated throughout the day. Will definitely repurchase.
