Agri-Fab 110-130 lb. Spreader Grate Kit, Black

For the $20.00 I paid for this grate I guess I expected more than a plastic grate. This item shouldn't cost more than $7.00 at best. I spent less on a Weber grill replacement grate and received a metal one ($15.00). I just got the grate and put it into my 130 lb tow behind fertilizer so we will see if it's effective and how long it lasts.I has used the grate and used it with zero flow problems. It is performing well. Still pretty expensive for what it is.

Should be included as standard equipment with spreader. Probably cost $2 to make in China.

Says it will fit the 130lbs spreader. It does not. It’s not even close to fitting.

It's not metal, but plastic. It's made to strain clumps and such, but if you're using a shovel or a rake to sift the media in the hopper, the flimsy plastic will bend or break.

Pretty good, a bit high priced for Chinese plastic and doesn't cover the edges very well. Almost seems like a part for multiple spreaders.

Product used to spread fertilizer, lime and lawn seed. Was worried about stability so had machinist friend fabricate axel extenders - wheel base stretched to 38" (as measured from outside edge of tires). Problem: no matter how I adjusted the parts could not get the chute to close completely. That's a bothersome defect.

Fits perfectly in my 110lb Agri-Fab walk behind broadcast spreader. Helps to break up large chunks before they clog up the spreader as well as debris. I think this and the deflector should be included with the unit but that's my opinion.

It works ok OK. But it's basically a thin piece of plastic with holes. It should really just be included with the spreader.

The screen fits both the 130 lb Agri-fab and John Deere spreaders. They are the same spreaders, just different colours
