Deserves 10 Stars!
When I first found out I have to put drops in my eyes every day for the rest of my life I freaked out. I am so useless at putting drops in my eyes that I had to get my husband to do it for me. And, even then I was not a "good patient" squirming and unable to keep my eyes open. It was torture for me. So grateful to have found Simply Touch! It works so well and is so easy to use that I could not believe it was actually working. I actually called the company directly to make sure that I was using the applicator properly and that "my eyes were not deceiving me" (pun intended). It was so easy and fast that I couldn't believe it was actually working or getting enough medication in my eye. To my surprise the company founder and inventor of Simply Touch took my call and very kindly and patiently answered all of my questions. He reassured me that I was in fact getting enough of the drops into my eyes and not to worry if I saw some liquid residual on the applicator after applying it. He explained how very little actually needs to get into your eye because our eyes cannot actually handle more than one drop. In fact, I learned that our eyes can only absorb a very small amount - only less than half of one drop. Most eye medication drops contain way too much for our eyes to absorb. This may benefit the drug companies and retailers who sell us the drops and medications, but it is certainly not in our best interest both financially and healthwise. These drugs have side effects! Big Pharma isn't as interested in making sure we only get the necessary amount in our eyes as they are in making sure that we keep buying those bottles of eye drops. If you have any trouble getting drops into your eyes and are concerned about saving money and minimizing the amount of drugs in your system, I HIGHLY recommend you spend the money on a Simply Touch - it is worth every single penny. I now have zero stress about putting drops in my eyes. Thankful I don't have to have someone else do it for me and I am saving money on not buying more medication than needed (this product at least doubles how many uses I get out of a bottle) and I have peace of mind knowing that I am not putting more drugs in my system than is necessary. Thank you Simply Touch!!!! If you run into problems using the applicator, before giving up on it, I highly encourage you to contact the company with your problems/questions. It made all the difference for me.

easy to use eye drop applicator
I used this for over the counter eye drops and it worked for me well. One side is for prescription eye drops and the other is for over the counter. It comes with a small case that can be kept in a wallet (I kept it in my coin wallet). I think they recommend washing it after use with soapy water but I just rinsed it well and let it dry in the case. Before this I needed help getting eye drops in my eye and that was quite a chore and a lot had to be used. I found this applicator quite simple to use in front of a mirror, holding my bottom eye lid down and touching the drop on the applicator to my eye.On the other hand, I did give this as a gift a few months a go to an older person using prescription eye drops and whilst I was there he got someone to help him use it and soon after that I noticed he had stopped using it completely for some reason (I never asked why). It just didn't work for him. I give it 5 stars as it worked perfectly for me and I think anyone willing to put the effort in will find this the best choice for putting eye drops in your own eye.12/2024 I just handed it to my son who needed to apply 2 different prescription eye drops to his eyes and one over-the-counter solution for his post-LASIK type procedure. I showed him how to use it, and he had them applied within seconds on his own. He'll be applying eye drops at all hours for several months and also while at work, so this little device will be a life saver.

Tiny product -- but big mistake!
The coin in the photo is a quarter so you can see how small this item is. It's going straight to the trash because it's useless (at least for me, it is). If you have even a slight tremor in your hand, I don't think you'll be able to keep the drop on the gizmo while you lift it to your eye. I wasted a lot of Rx drops trying to get it to work, but nope. No luck. I had high hopes for it when I read the 5-star reviews. Such a disappointment. Why do the folks who make the drops put them in such thick bottles that are hard to squeeze? Weak, arthritic hands aren't able to squeeze hard enough without a lot of trial and error. Yeah, I'm talking about me.

Accurate measuring
This has really helped me with my Glaucoma drops. Just wish the handle was bigger.

An eye-cone tool works much better for him even if he has to lie on ...
Purchased for my physically handicapped brother. Tool is too small (about 1.5") for his very large fingers and hands. He could not could not keep an eye drop on it through the delivery process. An eye-cone tool works much better for him even if he has to lie on his back in bed to use it. But, he is using the Applicator to apply an eye gel to his eye. This Applicator works better then a Q-tip but I wish it was a little longer and had a bigger grip area. When you see it, you wonder how it can cost $12. And what's really amazing is the $5.00 + for shipping.

Not as good as I hoped
I started using eye drops for my tired eyes. Wasted too much trying the freehand application method. This looked to be the solution. Here's my problems with this:1. The drops do not adhere to the device that well. If you tilt it while moving to your eye, you are likely to lose a good portion of the drop to the sink. Really need to hold it flat just before you get it to your eye. Kind of tricky.2. All of the drop does not seem to transfer to your eye when the drop is touched to the insdide of your eye lid. I still see significant liquid left on the device after application. All in all, it may be a little easier than the freehand method, but it still seems I am wasting product.

Sometimes small things really do matter!
I quickly found this device very easy & efficient. No more streams of wasted liquid running down my face. It could not be simpler to clean & carry. I agree that the price far exceeds the production cost, but it's still less expensive than many other applicators. I'm age 76, right-handed, & not tremendously dexterous but can apply drops to the device with my left hand when holding it with my right hand. Just be patient & take a few minutes practice.
