Replaced Chemical Guys with Zymol
Prior to purchasing this Zymol combo I have been using Chemical Guys Butter Wax in combination with Black Light polish on my Tuxedo Black Ford F-250. The Chemical Guys combo worked well and looked great when done, but it just didn’t last. I used Zymol cleaner wax many years ago and had good results so figured I’d give them another try. First things first, for anyone wondering, my routine is the same with both products: Double bucket with grit trap method for wash, followed by drying with a leaf blower to minimize touching the black paint. Chemical Guys I used cotton pad applicators for both products and microfiber for removal. similar approach with Zymol but the wax was applied with bare hands like lotion. Yes, you read that right, the Zymol wax is similar to coconut oil and “melts” in your hand and goes on great by using a very small amount and working it into the paint. So again, the Chemical Guys finished appearance was great but I found that I needed to re-apply about every two weeks to keep the water beading nicely. As I got tired of doing this so frequently, my quest began. I started by doing a small test section on the hood with the Zymol combo (HD Cleanse and Carbon Wax) using the methods listed above for both products . Two weeks later, I sprayed the hood down and the section done with Zymol was beading up and just falling off the truck. The Chemical Guys, sorry to say, was just a sheet of “standing” water. It was better than never being waxed, and the truck felt pretty smooth, but it wasn’t great and it clearly needed to be re-applied. On the other hand, the Zymol had rejected the water and the surface was nearly dry from the water beading off on its own. That was enough of a back to back test for me and Zymol was the clear winner.Last thing of interest is that while the Zymol is on the next level of cost vs “basic” waxes, the tub will last you a very long time. Judging from the first use, I should get 10-15 applications, and that’s on a full size truck, a car you could probably get 25 applications. Also, follow the instructions! Don’t let the HD Cleanse or the Carbon was dry!!! Do small consecutive sections of wipe on and wipe off. Hope this review helps anyone who is on the fence about taking the plunge!

Amazing
I have heard good things about Zymol for quite some time & wanted to try it but didn't want to spend the money. I spent a day working on my black '13 Passat and my wife's forest green '11 Mini. All I can say is "Wow". I never thought I would say that car paint feels rough but after using the HD Cleanse on our vehicles, the difference is amazing. A terry cloth will slide right off the cars & you can feel the difference with your fingers. You do need to follow directions and buff off the HD Cleanse before it dries. Be prepared for a workout if you don't. The carbon wax worked very well and both cars shine like a mirror. Even after being covered in MD spring pollen, they still shine like crazy. It is true that a little bit of both the cleanse and the wax go a long way. Count me as a completely satisfied customer. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

Zymol cleaner & carbon wax Combo Kit
These products seemed to work well on the vintage sewing machines to both clean them and polish the old finishes. You do have to "refrigerate after opening" the wax. All in all, very nice, easy to apply, and I love the coconut fragrance of the cleaner.

Way too much effort for OK results
I've gone through all the steps as described in the procedure. Final result? Not better than what you get with a high quality carnauba wax. Just more manual labor. If you don't wipe this stuff off within the specified time, it's a major effort to remove it. I followed the cleaning and waxing procedures to the letter. The results are just OK. I won't bother with it again. Too labor intensive.

This stuff is worth the crazy price!
Goes on and off easily, and lasts a long time. It even smells like a a day on the beach with coconut tanning oil...

Expensive but worth it
Purchased this set to give my vintage sewing machine restorations the perfect finishing touch. The cleaner is the best I’ve used at removing decades of dirt, dust, oil and whatnot. And the wax just makes the machine pop. It’ll take me years to go through all that wax!

Missing applicator
I'm sure it's great polish, but mine came missing the applicator and my only option was to return it for refund (it's a pricey combo when being shipped to Australia!) if I wanted that sorted. Big waste of time/$$.
