Stanton Uberstand Laptop Stand

I have 2 of these and I choose them mostly based on looks. Other laptop stands looked too clumsy or would not slide under a keyboard.The first stand is used in my music studio. It slides easily under my midi keyboard and holds my laptop above. I also take it on the road when I'm dj'ing and it has held up great. The second stand is used for my business laptop (15" Macbook Pro) when I'm sitting at my high-top table. Having the laptop raised off of the table reduces shoulder/neck stress for me while I'm working.The entire unit folds flat for easy transport and comes with a zippered bag to protect it. Also included are a couple of plastic tie-wraps and a long piece of Velcro tape for either securing your laptop to the stand or securing the stand itself to whatever it's placed on. There's a small adjustable/removable middle shelf that I use for a digital recorder. It appears to be well engineered and most of the unit is made from aluminum and stainless steel.Overall, I'm very happy with this stand and I would buy another one if needed.PRO's*Lightweight*Folds flat for travel*Clean Design*No assembly requiredCON's*Expensive*May not be suitable for 17" Laptop

After having two crane stands break I tried this out.Pros- light and portable. fits into the gig back easy- the Velcro included allows you to secure your laptop to the top of the stand.- Easy to use.Cons- For the price I wish there was something besides the zip ties to keep the stand base from getting pushed back. I gig with this 4-6 times a week and it's annoying to have to put one on every time. It does seem secure enough without the zip ties and would need to take a pretty big jolt to be knocked back, but sometimes I use gaff tape to secure the base just for the piece of mind.

Light, sturdy and gets the job done. The little shelf could use something to prevent my serato box from sliding but I actually rearly used it. I think it's the best pick for the price.

Great looking, light weight, compact. Perfect, right? Um, except that it requires a plastic zip tie to keep it from falling over backwards with your laptop on it. Yes, it stays up without the included zip tie, and you could always go to a hardware store and buy a bag of 50 for a couple bucks, but that this product is fairly expensive and relies on a little plastic thing to hold it up? C'mon. It just does not look very professional regardless of whether you're at a club, party, home, wherever. I would not have purchased the stand had I known this flaw. If some sort of permanent locking mechanism was included, this thing would have been THE stand to use.

This is a cool stand. No assembly, just unfold it and use one of the supplied reusable zippy strips to secure the base. This makes any mobile DJ look much more professional. This saves my back, leaning over a 3 ft. high table for 4 or 5 hours was killing me. I'm going to buy one for my son for Christmas. There are 2 things I don't like about it: 1) The bag that comes with it is very lightweight and the angles of the metal have already put a hole in mine. 2) This is really no big deal, but I thought the stand was bigger than it is for some reason. It is NOT flimsy at all, I just thought it was bigger. Love the industrial look of it as opposed to most others that look like a shelving unit.

Awesome product...worth the money!You can fold it flat...put it easilyin you computer bag. Extra height allowsyou to fit the legs under amps or keyboardsfor extra set up space. Very sturdy...willprobably last forever.

It a crap. Falling to the back. Cant hold a lap top

I have the 17 Inch Macbook Pro that I use when DJing and this stand just is not sturdy at all, you probably gonna have to put some bricks on it to keep it from tilting over!!! If you are a DJ like me that has to move kinda fast when using your laptop this is not the stand for you!!! I heard all these good things about this stand and it does not live up to the hype at all, you would better off stacking up a few telephone books!!! i do not recommend this stand for anyone who is a serious DJ!!!! Bad purchase on my part!!
