Works really well with the magnetic pipetto folio
Perfect for using with the pipetto magnetic folio. I tried using this with the apple keyboard cover but I returned the keyboard because the outer side just felt cheap to me. The pipetto on the other hand felt like I was holding a nice leather journal and now I just want to buy more. But this cover buddy case make sit perfect because now I don’t have to worry about my Apple Pencil falling when I pick up my tablet. Maybe the reason why I’m so happy with it is because of the pipetto cover because the magnets do feel slightly stronger than the one on the apple keyboard and therefore maybe the apple smart folio as well. I would definitely buy this again if I decide to match the other colours of pipetto if I do decide to purchase those as well. Thank God for this case because I think I’d be very unhappy with my iPad Pro setup if I hadn’t gotten this.

Exactly what I wanted to fix the one flay in the Smart Keyboard Folio
This is exactly what I needed. As much as I like Apple's Smart Keyboard Folio, the one flaw I didn't care for was the lack of protection for the sides of the iPad Pro 11 inch which are left exposed as the iPad simply attaches to the keyboard magnetically. This thin case protects the sides while allowing the Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Folio to magnetically attach through the case as if it wasn't there. There is a pass-through for the smart connector so the keyboard still functions as normal, and as an added bonus the pencil is now encased within the borders of the case to provide additional protection and aid in keeping the pencil from being knocked off while attached to the iPad. It also comes with a film screen protector, which I didn't expect, as a nice little bonus. If there are any flaws it would be the very slightly weaker magnetic attachment of the iPad Pro to the Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Folio, but it is very minor and only just barely makes the attachment weaker (but not enough to really be noticeable).I highly recommend this to anyone using Apple's folio solutions for their 2018 iPad Pro but want to ensure the edges of their iPad do not incur accidental damage, dents or scratches!

Great Complimentary Case! Small Unfortunate Inconvenience...
I’ve been using my iPad Pro 11 inch for about a month now with Apple’s Folio case, however I felt like it lacked a lot of protection. Luckily, I stumbled upon this case which is compatible with Apple’s Folio Case and Apple’s Smart Keyboard Case! This was perfect for my needs because it offered my iPad better protection while keeping it slim and compact. However, no product is perfect so let’s go over the ups and downs.PROS:- It is lightweight and compact- Offers much better protection than having a stand alone folio case- Is made of good quality materials- Has a dedicated, protected spot for your Apple PencilCONS:- Magnets are not too strong, but it still holds well- Retrieving the Apple Pencil from its slot is a bit finicky- Does not sit flush against my iPad screen for some reasonOverall, after using it for a while I can say that I’m really happy with my purchase! The main downside I would have to say is that when the folio is closed, the folio flap does not lay flat like it is intended to. This could be a minor defect with the product I received or the case perhaps just doesn’t fit exactly as it wasn’t intended to. Nonetheless, this is a small inconvenience but I would still say it’s well worth it.

Attractive, minimalistic, with some major flaws and poor build quality
UPDATE #2:About a month after my previous update, another chunk just cracked off. I’ve never had anything like this happen before. My devices and cases are all in pristine condition. It’s like the materials are degrading over the short time I’ve had this. Pretty unbelievable... Had to lower it to one star.UPDATE: After using this product for 2 months, I noticed a crack in one area. A month later, a piece of plastic near the power button cracked and fell off. This is not at all a cheap case. A case should last much better than this one has. I’ll update if Switcheasy reaches out to make right on this. This is an attractive little case, I love that it retains the full ability to remove the keyboard folio, unlike a cheaper alternative which requires a more “permanent” installation. It retains the minimalism and tactile beauty of the iPad with Smart Folio, since you’re basically mostly gonna be touching the folio, not the case. I thought I might not like the way it alters the rectangular form factor of the iPad, but it actually looks pretty nice in person.Other than its good-looks, however, it doesn’t feel too durable or reliably protective against any kind of impact (it’s more for scratch protection than anything else). This is fine, since that (and a bit of security to keep the Apple Pencil from falling off in my bag is really all I’m looking for. I really wanted to love this case, but the construction feels like cheap, thin, hard plastic which you’d expect in a $10 case. Even the lining feels very cheap and isn’t very soft. The ipad doesn’t really fit snugly around the edges, though I snapped it in as much as it could go, and I foresee dust getting into the sides (which would increase the risk of scratches to the iPad from grit within the case. The concept is nice, but overall the build quality just doesn’t justify the expensive price. There also some serious design flaws: 1. The “wing” to the left of the pencil, which serves no purpose other than symmetry, makes the volume controls EXTREMELY uncomfortable to access. You have to reach over it, or come from behind, and even then it’s such a cramped space that it makes them too annoying to make this case worthwhile. I considered cutting it off, but this type of plastic seems likely to crack if I try that, and at this price point, the manufacturer should have solved this. I’d prefer if they removed the “wings” totally, and just had a holder that surrounded the form of the pencil.2. The pencil is difficult to remove from its holder with this. I find the opening at the back too small to easily pop out the pencil on the first try (remember, each time you remove the Apple Pencil the magnetic attachment to the iPad will try to pull it back in if you don’t push it out far enough).3. The cutout area around the power jack is too small to allow for anything other than Apple’s charging cord. This seriously limits other types of input (like external hard-drives), unless you get a USB-C extender.I think this case has potential to be an awesome solution, but not with its current design, and not with the current price/quality discrepancy.I REALLY want this case to work for me, and I keep putting it back on to try it, but I keep finding reasons why I need to take it off to keep my iPad’s full functionality... Still undecided if I’ll keep it.

Brilliant
This works perfectly. And I love that I can remove the Smart Keyboard with ease if If I want to used it as an angled based to write with the pencil. The edges are very thin, so I’m not sure it would protect the iPad from a real fall. But it would prevent protect against the minor bumps and scratches.

It works!
Saw this item first on YouTube and thought it was a good idea. Bought one and it's as good as I had hoped. Protects the edges and corners of my iPad Pro 11" and also houses the pencil so it doesn't get lost or damaged while in a bag or backpack. I use it in conjunction with my smart case and magnets still work well and I'm really happy with the item. Recommended to any one who has an iPad pro 11". Not sure if it comes in other sizes or for other iPads. :)
