UPDATE: This wallet had the clasp break at just over a year of use. When I contacted the seller requesting to get a new clasp to *install myself*, they said it was out of warranty. They suggested I contact a local shop to get this unique clasp replaced. This wallet seemed of good quality and I had hoped to keep it much longer. It is in otherwise great shape, but now has a missing button on the clasp rendering it impossible to close. With 20/20 hind sight, I would not purchase this wallet or use this amazon vendor again. I cut two stars to 3/5 for the year plus of good use; but its life was cut short and the company does not stand behind their product after one year.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is truly top grain leather with a hand rubbed finish. Color and style (inside and out) are exactly as pictured and just gorgeous. It is slightly larger than the last envelope/clutch style wallet I had. The lining is coordinating ripstop nylon- smooth and tough. Pockets are a good fit: not so tight one struggles to use them, but not so loose the cards fall out. “Clear” ID slot is actually covered by plastic mesh rather than clear vinyl. It obscures the ID so you have to take it out to show it, but the mesh allows it to slide rather than stick like vinyl. If you fill this wallet to capacity it is a little difficult to close the clasp, but should become easier when broken in a little. The clasp seems sturdy and is actually screwed together on either side of the leather. It would be perfect if it had RFID blocking, but I got RFID inserts here on Amazon and cut them to size- presto!Accommodates EITHER an iphone 8 with out any case, OR a checkbook without a cover, but leaves less room for cards and cash, possibly not able to clasp if too full.

It’s okay, I mean it’s leather, sure, it’s just not the supple soft leather I was looking for. It’s kinda shiny and thick or stiff like pleather I guess you could say. It sort of smells a little like leather but also has another smell I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s large on the inside and will hold everything I need it to but I will need to get something to put the rest of my cards in as there’s only about 12 slots and I have about 30 cards to find space for between my bank cards and insurance cards and business cards and stuff. I don’t like the clasp however. There’s nothing wrong with it but it’s just not my thing. Overall the wallet is fine. Not $35 fine, more like $12.99 fine. There’s really nothing poorly made about it, it’s very nicely put together. I’m just disappointed it’s not what I was hoping for and will probably return it.

I love everything about this wallet! I use it for every purse I don’t care what the color of the purse is because I’m not giving up this wallet it’s perfect

LOVE the wallet! It is well worth the cost. High quality leather. It holds up to my (I guess) rough wallet treatments. As a mom of 5 on the go, that carries no purse I was blowing through wallets every couple of months. But with in the first month I had tears in the regular store ones, and by month 6 they were completely falling apart. BUT this wallet is a GEM! It holds my millions of cards, has room for my cash, and coins...it has beautiful craftsmanship. I highly recommend this wallet to anyone who is looking for a genuine leather/quality wallet.

I purchased a $20.00 or so wallet from you that worked out well for me for about 2 years and it started to fall apart. I found this more expensive wallet and I debated over 2 weeks if it's worth it. I looked at it several times closely and found that it is real leather, well stitched and clearly worth the money. I decided to keep it and I am very pleased that I chose this wallet.

I LOVE this wallet. It is soft and obviously leather. The card slots are tight at first, but loosen up after use. It fits well in my purse. I LOVE it, can't say it enough. I do not like the mesh over the license holder. You can't see the license through it. That's my only complaint, and why I give it 4 stars.

This is a GREAT wallet. I have never spent more than $15 on a wallet before but I'm glad I did on this. It fits all of my cards perfectly, I love that it has two spots to put cash and I love how it opens completely. The only complaint I have is that the spot where the ID goes is mesh and if you push it in all the way its darn near impossible to get it out. Other than that it's just lovely.

I will say that a pro is that this is an absolutely beautiful wallet! Very well made. However, it's an absolute pain to get the cards out of the slots. Maybe that's just the one I got, but I had to stop using it. It was not over stuffed, one card per slot only, and I even had empty slots still, yet struggled way too much every time I used it to the point that it wasn't worth the hassle. I mean, I like the security of knowing my cards won't fall out of my wallet as much as the next person, but when I'm holding up the grocery line because my debit card seems to be cemented into my wallet, that's a problem.
