High quality keyboard with excellent back-lighting
This keyboard is solid and comfortable to type on. The adjustable backlight ranges from quite mellow to very bright. I purchased it for someone who was having difficulty seeing the keycaps on a non-backlit keyboard, and this completely resolved the issue.

The dream i am writing on right now
I am not really one to write reviews of things, but i have to say that I wanted to have an excuse to type on this keyboard just a little bit more.I type for a living. One way or another, I use a keyboard more than any one thing in my life. I decided to get this for my office at work and did my research. Everything said that the best switch to get is the Cherry MC Blues, so I went and did my searches. There as so many RGB and gaming keyboards out there. Don;y get me wrong, I game on a Corsair K70 with MX Speed switches and i do like that for what they do. That is the keyboard that sold me on the mechanical switches in fact. But the speed switches are twitchy and prone to error when typing. So, i took the leap. Let me tell you it was worth it. The chassis is amazingly solid. It appears to be made of aluminium and does not flex at all. There is some heft to the board as a whole, maybe weighing about two kilos, but it isn't going anywhere. The bottom is plastic along with the legs. This isn't the worst as the legs actually feel solid and I am not worried about them.I do wish that there was a wrist rest that would at least pair with this particular board, but their standard rest will work in the long run.The bottoming out of the keys was really pleasant, but the first thing I ended up doing was putting in a full set of dampers. It turns out that this board is quieter than the crappy board at work, but at the same time, who wants to really hear someone typing with gusto and bottoming out at the speed of light. Thought, i do have to say, there is no stopping the bottoming out on the delete key. that thing has a mind of its own apparently. I might double up a damper so i don't get called out for making so many mistakes. If i had a do over, i would choose a different switch for my gaming rig, but the Night MK typist is the the typist dream. The off white back lighting is subdued. The ability to switch it over to any format with some switches on the bottom is amazing, and the fact that the board itself remembers your settings no matter what computer you have it plugged into is a life saver. 10 out of 10 would buy again. Not for gaming that is, but to have on all of my writing machines... if only a laptop keyboard would come close to this experience. I would buy it regardless of the specs just for this experience (Exaggeration for those who know about the mechanical keyboard laptops that are honestly for gaming only).

Pulls too much power. Couldn;t get it to work.
Oh My! Just like some other people, got error message saying too much power for the USB port I was using. So I plugged it into the Motherboards USB and it would only show a bright white light coming from the CAPS LOCK. Tried the dip switches but did nothing. Keys are extremely loud. Had another Mechanical Keyboard awhile back and it wasn;t that loud and obnoxious. This keyboard must weigh 5 pounds and feels very sturdy. Is there supposed to be instructions? Very bad experience. Sent it back

Love it! Well-built keyboard with awesome Cherry switches.
First of all, thanks to Mechanical Keyboards for having great customer service. The keyboard is awesome! Very sturdy. Very pretty with it's understated, almost minimalist look and soft-white lighting. Cable is USB-C to USB-A, removable, that's nice. Keycaps are really nice, too. Solid.Pretty much the perfect office keyboard for the keyboard aficionado when paired with Cherry Silent Red switches. And, yeah, they're actually dang silent, it's great. I can hammer away at my keyboard now and my coworkers are spared the torment of incessant clicking and clacking. At this price, would recommend 10/10.

Great for low light typing.
This is great for low light conditions typing, especially with older eyes. The standard white light is just what I wanted. Did not need a kaleidoscope of carnival colors when I’m trying to concentrate on my material.

Solid Keyboard for those that take typing seriously
As professional developer who can type 100+ wpm I am picky about keyboards. This is one of the best I have used. Solid, responsive, well made, and looks great. I prefer working in lower light for better screen contrast so having a backlit keyboard is important to me. The only improvement I would make to the keyboard is the backlighting is not even over all of the keys, e.g. the PgUp and PgDn buttons the middle two letters are lit up bright but the first and last letter not so much. Its a minor point.

DO NOT PURCHASE!
The included USB-C cable is a nightmare. Good luck trying to connect the cable just the right way to get the keyboard to be registered by your pc. This was a very disappointing purchase. Steer clear.
