I've been waiting for this since the investigation started. Nice to have it on my Kindle.
This report is succinct, to be trusted and is an eye-opener. I guess I was confused as to what the obstruction of justice was about. I thought, erroneously, that it was President Trump trying to obstruct any transparency into his tax returns, his Trump organization, his continued participation in his many financial avenues and his active, working intent on building a Trump Tower in Russia up through June 2016 - well after he was named nominee of the Republican Party. Terribly unethical. But, if he were to have been honest about it, maybe it wouldn't have been such a negative mark on his trustworthiness. My awakening and NEW understanding of Volume 2 (if you are interested:: Trump was obstructing justice into the investigation of Russia's ATTACK on our democracy by interfering in our election process!!! Along with the things I initially thought was the "deal". WHY ON EARTH would a President, any president, who swore an oath to the Constitution of the United States, to protect the American people, interfere with a very serious investigation on how it happened and what we can do in the future to prevent it from happening again??? WHAT?! (SMH) One would think that a President SHOULD be cooperating, for the sake of the country and our pillars of democracy.. What in the hell does he have to hide? Obviously something, if not many things...because he sure has been doing things that Russia is pleased about. Does that mean he's indebted to Russia/Putin in some way? I realize there was not enough evidence to fit the definition of CONSPIRACY and to charge him for it...but he and his campaign sure as hell DID "collude" w/the Russians (happily asking for and accepting negative info on Hillary) to help his campaign and to help elect him president. Well, that worked, to the Russians glee! After reading this report (Volume 1 was more difficult to read and keep up with), my opinion is that he is more than likely an illegitimate president. Crazy to even consider, right?! But it's the only explanation for the Russian's help and his grateful acceptance of it...and sharing of polling data in critical electoral college states. Trump won the election by a small margin of 77,000 votes spread over key electoral college states. That clinched it. He'll do it again. He'll used Russia, NK and China to help him try to win 2020. SIDE NOTE: As I write this review, I am seeing that the POTUS was interviewed in the Oval Office and stated, in no uncertain terms, that he would gladly accept (and wouldn't call the FBI), if he was offered negative information on his rival, from a foreign country!!! WHAT?! Didn't we just go through this 2 year Mueller Investigation, only to have Trump "snub" it and do it again "cause he can". (It's more than obvious that he thinks he's above the law!)Can I say that Volume 2 blew my socks off?! There are at least 10 documented acts of Obstruction of Justice. Just alarming! Didn't he say, during his campaign that he would be a "law and order President"?! I have now come to the educated opinion that we MUST begin Impeachment Hearings immediately! That way he cannot obstruct all subpoenas, Congress can get access to more information, with less struggle. I wasn't "there" on Impeachment - but HE has led us there!! So, I sure as hell am 1000% behind Impeachment NOW! I don't know how many folks have researched their ancestry...but I personally have upwards of 35 DIRECT ancestors who fought for and gave their lives for our hard-fought democracy. Lest we forget that history?! Do we really want to lose the liberty and freedom that that democracy entitles us?! Trump is pulling at the threads of our democracy...most in plain view, but some in "secret". Pulling on these threads can lead to an unraveling of our political norms, laws and our ability for checks and balances. Fact: There have been many a country, in the 21st century, that has fallen into an autocracy or dictatorship! Frightening! Let's NOT be one of them!! I'm begging those who have not read this...please read it...or listen to it on Audible. I know we are all busy in our lives and often can barely find time to sleep. Do NOT believe the propaganda from Trump and his cronies when he says "NO obstruction.. NO Collusion". It is a blatant lie. That's in black & white in the report. Also please be wary of watching and listening to opinion-based media (especially prime time Fox - Hannity, Tucker, Laura). They are NOT honest purveyors of the news. They invite division in an already divisive country. Take the time to listen and read to neutral news media...NPR, Al-Jazeera, BBC, etc. We are ALL Americans, who only want the best for America. Let's try to discuss our differences in a calm, rational, respectful way. This is important. Really important.

The Most Discussed Unread Report
If you are like most Americans, you have an opinion about what is popularly known as The Mueller Report. And, like 97% of Americans, including members of congress and probably the president of the United States, you haven’t read it. Your opinions most likely emanate from your personal confirmation bias supported by commentary from news organizations and “pundits” you follow and believe, as well as acquaintances in your group and your family. That Americans can offer up strong opinions on a document they haven’t read and by all measures have little idea of what it contains shouldn’t surprise anybody. It’s how the vast majority of our fellow citizens operate.Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election is in two volumes. Volume I reports on the findings of Russian interference in the election and the interactions and encouragements of Trump people regarding the interference. Volume II reports in detail the various ways Donald Trump tried to thwart the investigation into Russian interference and then into the many ways he tried to shield himself from investigation. Both volumes are contained in the one-volume Washington Post edition.Readers will find The Washington Post edition particularly helpful because of all the additional material it contains, as well as its organization. It reproduces the original document, including the original pagination. When people cite specific document pages, you can easily find them in this book. Additionally, the volume contains a very helpful narrative of events that took place over more than a year and half and that involved a large cast of characters. Speaking of the characters, this edition contains a list of individuals involved, arranged by affiliation, with short summaries of their activities and backgrounds. (Mueller also provides an extensive listing at the end of his report.) Also, because of the timespan, readers will find the book’s timeline of events useful. Finally, the book contains multiple appendices that include biographies of Mueller and Trump, a glossary of legal terms, and key documents (such as the indictment of the Internet Research Agency). Easily, it’s enough to give a clear understanding of the entire affair, start to finish. As to Volume I of the report, readers will be astounded by the extent of Russian interference and very troubled by how Trump and his associates encouraged Russian help. It will become evident to most readers that Trump should count himself a lucky man, for if a prosecutor not nearly as Republican and conservative as Robert Mueller had conducted the probe, Trump and his people might have found themselves indicted on conspiracy charges. Interestingly, Trump probably still doesn’t realize just how fortunate he is.It’s not for me to go through Volume I; that’s your job as an American citizen or a non-citizen curious about all the brouhaha is about. However, I would like to address one refrain common among Trump supporters. It goes something like: The Russians never had anything to do with how I voted; the Russians never influenced me. In fact, unbeknownst to them, the Russians did just that. The report presents numerous examples of how the IRA (Internet Research Agency, operated by the Russians out of a building at 55 Savushkina Street, Saint Petersburg) employed all types of media to reach voters, including social media. Read and mull over just this one paragraph from Volume I, and then ask yourself, did the Russians touch me, did they influence me (that is, did they anger you, turn you against a group, help you identify more strongly with a group, discourage you from voting, etc.)?“Collectively, the IRA’s social media accounts reached tens of millions of U.S. persons. Individual IRA social media accounts attracted hundreds of thousands of followers. For example, at the time they were deactivated by Facebook in mid-2017, the IRA’s “United Muslims of America” Facebook group had over 300,000 followers, the “Don’t Shoot Us” Facebook group had over 250,000 followers, the “Being Patriotic” Facebook group had over 200,000 followers, and the “Secured Borders” Facebook group had over 130,000 followers. According to Facebook, in total the IRA-controlled accounts made over 80,000 posts before their deactivation in August 2017, and these posts reached at least 29 million U.S. persons and ‘may have reached an estimated 126 million people.” And, mind you, this is just Facebook. In Part Two, the Special Counsel lays out the case of obstruction against President Trump. And it is a very strong case. In fact, it is so strong that to date more than 1,000 former Department of Justice prosecutors have signed a letter stating that Trump, were he not president, could be indicted on several counts of felony obstruction of justice. So, what are these points of obstruction detailed in Part Two? They are:Trump’s and his campaign’s efforts to deny Russian interference in the 2016 election.Trump’s efforts to protect Michael Flynn.Trump’s firing of FBI Director ComeyTrump’s efforts to remove the Special Counsel.Trump’s attempts to coverup the June 9 meeting involving Trump, Jr., Kushner, Manafort, and the Russians.Trump’s efforts to have Jeff Sessions un-recuse himself and take over the investigation.Trump’s attempt to order McGahn to deny Trump tried to fire the Special Prosecutor.Trump’s attempts at witness tampering regarding Flynn, Manafort, and Cohen.Part Two provides in-depth detail regarding each of these points that paints a vivid picture of a scheming President Trump. Readers familiar with Trump’s behavior in New York as a self-styled real estate mogul will see reflected in The Mueller Report conduct typical of Trump throughout his life. The Mueller Report is important reading for all Americans, including you.

DRY as HECK, BUT a Must-Read For Anyone Interested in Truth
I downloaded the free pdf edition, plus I purchased this edition, as well as the audiobook edition. Why? Because I lived through Watergate. I, as well as any American, well understand the potential impact of this investigation and just how many years into our future this report might define our nation’s political battleground. And, make no doubt about it, it COULD be the opening shots in America’s Second Civil War. The question before us is this: Will our second civil war be similar to 1860, or will it be more akin to our Cold War with the Soviet Union?Okay, that could all be an over-statement. With our current President first welcoming the Mueller Report as “Totally exonerating Mr. Trump,” then alleging that those who aided Mueller as being ‘Traitors,’ I don’t believe it possible to out Trump the President. To quickly learn just why Mr. Trump has done such an about face, skip forward to the beginning of Volume Ii. You will note just how serious the warranted charges against the President are, or could be, if the House of Representatives does proceed with impeachment.Further, Republicans in the Senate must be quaking in their boots. If they stand by the Prseident, they risk massive defeat in 2020. If the stand for justice under the law, many will be forced to vote for conviction, which could earn them the wrath of a failed and betrayed President and members of their own party. No stand is easy for them to take, so...BOTTOM LINEThis is a rather dry read, but it is a must-read book of historical value.Five stars out of five.

The truth is what is important
Very interesting. Mueller and his committee left no stone unturned. Book had to be read in segments in order to keep all the facts straight. It took awhile to read and digest it all but at the end it proved to be very well researched and validated. I have no doubts about Mueller's findings. I am glad I took the time to read it.

Damaged item
I was looking forward to listening to my new audio book about the mueller report and to my surprise when I opened the box i found that the item was damaged but the packaging it came in, was not. With a total price of $47.98 (£37.92), I am quite upset about the damage, and I cannot simply change the case because the paper insert is also damaged.

What’s next
I would like to know where does this report mention about “no collusion, no obstruction” which I could not find. So, I am wondering if Mr.Trump has read this or not.I am very interesting to see what will happen next, how this country to recover it’s democracy and who, among the Republicans, to stand up.
