Discourages the insane cardinal that attacks his reflection
This product is EXCELLENT. We had this cardinal that spent his days--ALL day!--attacking his reflection, obviously under the impression he was fighting a rival. Apparently, it's been going on since well before we bought the house two years ago. As hard as he was hitting the glass, he can't have been improving his mental judgment about the matter, and it was really annoying to us, as it was quite loud and persistent, and we work at home. I first tried "Bird's Eye View" on an upstairs window because it is too high for a similar product that goes on the outside of windows. Fast and easy. No more bird attacks at that window! Next, I used the other product, strips that have to be placed 2-3 inches apart on the *outside* of a window. Took FOREVER to put them up. I was so sick of the process that I decided to use this inside-the-window product on the other two panes of that three-pane window. Took a fraction of the time. While I can't be certain of the relative efficacy, the bird used to attack all three panes, and he hasn't been back. Stupid critter attacked windows on all sides of the house; after I placed "Bird's Eye View" on the windows he used to attack, he hasn't attacked once! It has now been a couple of months. We have occasionally had collisions from birds (accidents, not like the cardinal); none yet, though it's too soon to know for sure. The diamonds look pretty nice, too, like they're intended as decorations. I can't say it's the decoration I'd have chosen if there were no bird to be considered, but it certainly beats the ugly newsprint I had resorted to last year.

Nice looking and effective
After spending a week nursing a dove back to health who had flown into our windows, I finally decided to put stickers on.I was delighted to find stickers that are not cheesy looking. It is our living room window, and I do not want to junk up the window with tacky looking stickers. So I was delighted to find these stick-ons that are simple and kind of cool looking. They sort of resemble a Frank LLoyd Wright or Louis Sullivan pattern, for those of you who are into design. I could actually see using them on windows in an intentionally decorative pattern.Anyway, they were slightly tricky to put on, only because the geometry needed to be straight and centered, not just stuck up randomly. I uses a small t-square to make sure they were level. I'd recommend measuring and placing a piece of scotch tape in a level line to use as a guide. Then you can apply the stickers and smooth them on, then remove the tape. You do not need the glass to be very wet to get them to stick, only slightly misted with a fine sprayer. Too much water causes them to slide around. I found that a microfiber cloth or wash cloth worked better than a squeegee. The squeegee moved them around too much.Nice thing; they are not actually adhesive with glue, but more like cling film, so you should be able to take them off easily.I believe they will be effective, based on the way they refract the light. And you do not need a bunch of them to work as the light spreads around as it is reflected. Make sure if you have overhanging eaves that you place them where the sun light can reach them. If they are placed too high they won't work.I feel that my many bird visitors are much safer now!

Happy to Report No More Bird Strikes!
I am a hardcore fan of birds. 365 days a year, regardless of the weather, I’m out at dawn setting out lots of feeders and freshening bird baths. It breaks my heart when I hear the thump and I know one of my visitors has struck a window. Keeping the blinds closed didn’t remove the glare from the glass. I purchased quite a few of these window deflectors and covered the tops of 6 large windows (the bottom is protected by heavy black screens) and two storm doors. I installed them in September 2019. I waited to leave a review until they passed muster through all four seasons.I’m happy to report there have been no bird strikes. I’m home all day so I know if there are any accidents. Lots of different birds pass through here in the Spring heading further north (I’m in Maine) and I have a wide variety of summer birds. The regular crew has returned to the feeders for the winter...chickadees, titmice, juncos and of course the ubiquitous blue jays. Everyone has stayed safe. The deflectors were easy to install. The upper window is divided into 6 panes. I used one decal per pane. None of them have come off and I wash all my windows about every 3 months.

Save the Birds
I got these defectors to stop the birds from banging into my front window. I have not had any with these deflectors. Very happy with them.

It works
It's been 2 years since I bought these the first time for two large upstairs windows where we were having loads of bird strike. They cut the strikes to almost none...I have seen birds fly directly towards the window and slam on the brakes when they got close, so they either didn't hit or just glanced off.But with all the fledglings we have in our garden we've had three strikes in the past two days on our patio doors downstairs so something must be done. I have every confidence these will work as well on the ground floor as the first.

No more window collisions!
This is the only product of the myriad of decals and other solutions I've tried that actually works. I have large flocks of grosbeaks, chickadees, etc at my feeders and every week there's a few that collide with my large picture window. I try and bring them in in a cardboard box to let them recover but some dont make it.I've had these decals up for over a month and not one bird has hit the window. In fact I've watched them flying straight towards the window and veer off when they get close so I truly believe these decals are working. Not only do they work but they look amazingly good inside!

Good for stopping birds flying into the window
This seems to be a very effective device to stop birds flying into our big windows and it is quite subtle, so doesnt disturb our ciew out of the window

Been a few weeks without a bird accident.
I really hope these work. So far (3 weeks) so good. Easy to install and they do not ruin the view. Hopefully the birds see them and avoid flying into my windows.
