It works!
I am SO THANKFUL to have discovered this cooling gel pad that I had to write a product review - something I never normally bother to do. I bought it a couple of months ago and use it under the sheet for my feet and lower limbs and it is BLISS! It does exactly what it says and cools my feet. I just wish I had found this a few years back when this condition started.I suffer from burning feet, a condition that no medical test seems to be able to show what is the trouble. I find I can manage it during the day but makes me very restless and desperate to find a fresh cool place on the bed at night in order to try and sleep. In the summer I wake up several times a night and get out of bed to try and cool my feet on the cold floor or in cool water. Unfortunately the moment I get back into bed the burning starts again within a couple of minutes and I'm back to square one. I've tried showering in the middle of the night to drop my whole body temperature. I have bought creams that are supposed to cool your feet. Nothing worked and quite honestly being in bed was a miserable sweaty business. I was dreading the summer as I only just manage in the winter when temperatures are cooler anyway. The cooling gel pad is like having a flat cold water bottle under my feet and legs. It takes enough of the heat out of my feet that I can get off to sleep. I always have the duvet off my feet to keep the pad cool and help my feet to stay cool. When one part of the pad warms up after maybe 15=20 minutes (I don't keep track of how long it takes) I simply move my feet to the next part of the pad which is still cool. The pad is not freezing - just cold - though you could put it in the fridge to make it colder if you wanted. The plastic exterior is perhaps not the most comfortable and it tends to slip a little under the sheet so that it needs a quick tug back into place every couple of nights, but I don't mind that because the trade off for the coolness is all I want. It is usually warm by the morning - but that's OK because I am getting up anyway.I was put off initially by the bizarre name of Yoga pet bed sofa etc. I have no idea what that's all about. Ignore it. If you need to have your feet cooled at night - this is what you need.

A cool product
As I itch when I get too warm in bed I thought I would try this product. It is surprisingly heavy, but that is not important as it is big enough to lay on the mattress where you want to keep cool.At first, it seems cold, but quickly reaches a reasonable temperature and stays cool for several hours. Inevitably it eventually absorbs the body' heat and for the remainder of the night is not very effective. However, it is wonderful for short periods (after dinner nap?) Rather than just lay on the plastic I tried it beneath the under sheet and it seems to work just as well.

Much easier than using cold, wet flannels.
I’m finding this very useful for calming my burning feet and legs at night. I double it up and wrap it around my lower legs and feet and it feels so soothing, enabling me to drift comfortably off to sleep. I don’t even have to put it in the fridge or freezer.I consider it to be one of my best purchases to date and I recommend the product and the seller.

Returned. Arrived Dirty
Arrived in a dented box which can sometimes happen in transit. But didn't seem all that difficult to open the box and I didn't notice a seal on it either. Plastic bag inside opened much more easily that I'd expect. Unfolded the item and saw some strange marks on it which I couldn't identify. I didn't like the idea that this might have been used and returned by someone else and couldn't bring myself to try it out. I could tell from taking it out of the box that it was soft and good material, though, and would have worked well to cool me down.So if you get a clean one, I reckon it'll be worth it.

Well worth the money when you need to cool down.
Gave this 4 stars for warmth as there was no option for “cold”. It is really nice and cool initially, and for a period of time. However, I repeatedly get very hot then cold at night. The gel absorbs the heat at first but then can’t keep doing so. It becomes very warm and radiates heat back. Therefore, I find it best to slip this in to a single duvet cover I’ve adapted so that I can easily push the whole thing out of bed when it heats up. Having it under the bed sheet makes it harder to remove. When I wake up during the night and it’s cooled down I can then use it again. I sometimes put it in the fridge before bed too, although it works well without doing this.

Well just wasted my money! I'm
The only time it's cool is when you first get into bed. The longer you lay on it the warmer it gets. To be honest I'm cooler with out it. I so wanted this to work especially with the hot weather. But for me it's definitely a no. As for stars? It's well made and looks the part. But no idea how I would rate it star wise.

Grea for summer
We bought for our cat in summer to keep cool when lying in direct sunlight for hours on end. Great and stays cool and is great with reversed as the unused side is the fresh cold surface. Has also been used under the bedsheet topper onto the mattress and stayed cold for the entire night. was a little uncomfortable to sleep on as it is designed for that but that was better than being unreasonably warm in summer.
