Very nice!
Seem to be very well made for the money. Works orders of magnitude better than the junk crimpers I used previously. Because of the parallel movement of the jaws, the crimps are much better with much less hand force needed. The pass-through cutter works great as well. Cutter and stripper blades are first rate. The connectors that come with the crimpers though, are not great. As with all the pass-through connectors I've so far tried, they all seem to have a radius on the strain relief, which gives the same result as no strain relief at all. They might be geared more towards CAT6 cable. CAT5e seems to have too small a diameter for the strain relief to do any good at all. I can't fault the crimpers for that.

Excellent product
The HIIJA RJ 45 crimp tool was very easy to use. Some tools arrive without instructions but this tool is so self explanatory that instructions were not necessary. Crimper worked as advertised and is very well built. It also comes with extra cutting blades, very convient. I would recommend this product to anyone who is a DIY advocate.

Exactly what I needed, crimper works great.
I bought this to run a bunch of Cat6 wire in my house. I didn't want to spend a ton of money and buy a very expensive crimper, because I'm only going to need it very occasionally. After searching on Amazon, I picked this one because of the reviews, the price, and the fact that it came with connectors. As a crimper, it works flawlessly. Couldn't be happier. The cutter part of the tool also works. The part used to strip the wire does not work. I tried it with indoor and outdoor cable (slightly different sizes) and I couldn't strip off the outer insulation with the tool so I used my electrical pliers. It would have been nice for the wire stripper to work, but there are plenty of other ways to strip a wire. What I really needed the tool for was crimping, and in that regard, it worked great. The quality of the tool also seems high. Given the price and included connectors, I'd definitely recommend this tool.

Awesome tool! Great price!
Well thought out and easy to use. The only drawback is putting the finished RJ-45 connector in and crimping. You have to make sure the wire extending out is through the blade or it may crumple as you put it in.

This tool has worked great for me!
First, do watch some Youtube videos of how to feed the wire through the connector because that is by far the "fussiest" part of terminating. Also make sure there are no kinks left in the wires, that will prevent them from inserting into the connectors. My wirecutters have curved sides and I pinch the wires between that and my thumb one at a time and pull the wires quickly through to remove the kinks (have to repeat 2 or 3 times). The best tip I read was to sort the wires, pinch them between your fingers in order and cut them AT AN ANGLE and immediately while still pinching them push them into the connector. This has worked well for me. Anyway regarding the tool, it has performed flawlessly. Make sure you've got the connector pushed all the way into it, and that the wires are all extending cleanly out the hole on the other side. Crimp down until the tool releases and you're done. All 8 wires have trimmed cleanly every time I've used it, and every connector has performed without trouble. It's nice to be able to make cables the length I want them instead of looping a bunch of excess somewhere and trying to hide it! I made a cable to connect from my router to a PoE hub and cables connecting the hub to PoE Ring cameras. Everything is performing perfectly. Also a note on the included jacket stripper. Some people complained in their reviews that it nicks the wires. Well yes, THAT IS WHY THERE IS A PULL STRING IN YOUR CAT6 CABLE. FIRST you use the stripper to remove part of the jacket, then you grab the pull string and tear it down the jacket several inches, then you cut the jacket off with scissors. Then you trim the wiring shorter than where it may have been nicked. The stripper works great when you do this properly!

Very effective, includes all needed parts at solid price
Solid experience using the crimp tool. I primarily used it on Cat6 (around 30 cables), and a few Cat5e (around 10). Most of the challenges I ran into were my skill level on using this (first time ever crimping ethernet cables), but after doing a few, I was able to do them pretty quickly. I didn't feel a need to use the yellow tool (you can use the crimp tool to score the shielding at an exact diameter, which felt more reliable). I really like the wire pass through feature, so you dont have to pre-cut the wires at the right lengths first. If it's your first time using the tool, look up a video tutorial, then practice on a cable you don't mind messing up on a few times. I had some very short ethernets traced through the walls that i couldn't risk messing up on, so made a point to do those last.

The product appears sturdy and works well. Take care to insert the wires in correct order. It is not that difficult to figure out. After 2 or 3 ends installed it becomes easy. Pass through Cat5,6 ends work well. Might be nice to have a spare blade supplied as well but as a home owner, occasional user, I do not foresee needing to replace the cutter blade. It paid for itself the first day repairing damaged Ethernet cables.

I've used cheaper crimpers in the past and they were a pain because of poor alignment of the crimping comb and the need to cut the wires perfectly before sliding them into the connector. This tool worked like a charm, crimp and cut in one step, RJ45 cables working first try, I even removed and replaced old connectors crimped with the cheaper tool to make sure they were perfect.

The Hiija RJ45 Crimp Tool has been an excellent addition to my toolkit. It offers great crimping performance with consistent, secure connections every time. The build quality is high, and the tool feels solid and durable in hand. It’s also very easy to use, even for beginners. I particularly appreciate the helpful labeling and notes directly on the tool, which make the crimping process more intuitive. In terms of value, it’s hard to beat—great performance at an affordable price. While the blades can become a bit dull with extended use, they still perform well and get the job done reliably. Overall, a dependable tool that's perfect for both occasional and regular network cable work. Highly recommended.

Cutters are cheap and didn’t last. Replacement went quick too. Approx 12 cuts before needing replacement blade. Prob down to couple cuts on replacement blade. Kinda needed when crimping cable and doesn’t cut ends off
