Stained glass grinder bits
Great value! I always purchase Twoofers for my grinder bits.

Good for ripple glass
I Bought specifically to use on ripple glass for stained glass panels. The dark blue glass is up to 5 mm thick (approx 3/8β). This is Kokomo opalescent ripple. I put Vaseline in small opening on bit, turned over and put down and up on the grinder shaft to assure lubrication of screw and shaft to prevent screw rusting and promote easy bit removal. I then seated bit correctly on shaft according to the directions on package. I ground 1 edge very quickly on both pieces of glass. The ground area on the thicker glass was slightly wider than my 7/32 foil. An easy fix would be wider foil vs just doing a slight shave on a regular grinding blade which I will likely do. The pictures include 1 with foil shot of ripple ground edge as well as seating the foil in the groove.I like it that this bit allows for greater contact with the foil and a clean solder edge. This bit uses a 2.5 mm crescent wrench as compared to the 2.0 for the gryphon bits. Wrenches come with the bits. Please make certain you wear protective eyewear when using this pit as it is very aggressive. I would also recommend using some sort of surround like Mr splash, although could use cardboard of plastic bin lids.Pictures: 1. Foiled edges including reg grind and ripple bit on 5 mm glass(ripple height) 2. Glass prior to grinding. 3. Glass after grind. 4. Package directions

They will grab the glass!
These do what they're supposed to do. But be careful they will jerk the glass out of your hand and sling it across the room. That and chips the edges pretty good if you push too hard. Other than that they function very well to bevel the edges of rippled glass.

Work great
Did a nice job on the edge of some irregular glass.

Harder to use compared to the regular grinder bits
Not happy with this purchased. I used it slightly, can I still return it back or exchange it for the regular TWOFERS set, I normally buy?

What are these made of?
It's probably not fair that I write a review before using these bits. But I did get them out yesterday to look at them. I don't happen to be working on they say that I need them for the moment. The Allen wrenches however felt like they were plastic covered in a Metal Coating. They are very light they don't feel like any substantial allen wrench that I've ever held in my hand before. The bits themselves feel like they're made out of the same material. They may work fine. I will give an update when I use them.
