The best of the Gins
I thought I didn't like Gin until I tasted this. Absolutely amazing flavours and very drinkable.My Wife was the intended recipient of this ( I bought it as a surprise for her after she came back from a Gin tasting raving about it) but after tasting it I felt compelled to plead for the opportunity to share the bottle with her.It goes especially well with any of the newer tonics, such as the various flavours available from Fever tree

Looks/tastes and is a quality gin
Lovely gin. Too pricey for me really but amazing value if you can get it on offer. Not the sort of gin you slug down but more of a sip and enjoy the taste- not my usual way of drinking gin! A top quality gin in a top class bottle.

Best spiced gin ever.
Excellent gin. The best for me. Love the spices. Is especially delicious with Dubonnet. For royalists (or just gin drinkers like me) it is the Queens favourite drink and her mother’s before her.

Nicht alltäglicher Top-Gin
Während in Deutschland allerorts lokale Gin-Brennereien mit eher mittelmäßigen Erzeugnissen wie Pilze aus dem Boden schießen, mausert sich auf der britischen Insel die schottische Metropole Edinburgh mehr und mehr zu einer echten Hochburg für hochwertige Gins. Zusammen mit der Edinburgh Gin Distillery (2010) und der Port of Leith Distillery (2017) werden seit 2014 auch in der Summerhill Distillery echte Top-Gins produziert, die Gin-Fans unbedingt kennen sollten.Der Pickering's Gin wird nach einem alten, aus Bombay stammenden Originalrezept aus dem Jahr 1947 gebrannt. Neben dem obligatorischen Wacholder spülen acht weitere Botanicals (Koriander, Kardamon, Zimt, Fenchel, Anis, Zitrone, Limette und Nelken) einen Hauch von Orient ins Glas, der aber bei weitem nicht so aufdringlich wie beispielsweise beim Ophir ist. Zusammen mit dem leichten Fever Tree und einer Scheibe Orange ist der 47er für mich ein toller Gin & Tonic für alle, die dem ginlosen Einheitsbrei entkommen wollen.
