Works perfectly. Has different brightness settings and different color modes for blue or yellow tinted light. Complaints: The power chord is really short and usb only and the phone arm could be longer or more extendable for more angles. Also, the LED lights get really hot. No problems so far. Used for 3 weeks.Update:Used regularly for over a year now and it’s still kickin!

I know most people will use this as a selfie-holder, but I find it absolutely perfect for a small desk lamp and phone holder.First, I was surprised by the quality of this product for the price. The two arms are incredibly flexible, but equally as solid. It was very easy to simply clamp the device to my desk, and once plugged into the USB port on my computer (or you could use an adapter to plug it into a wall outlet) it just worked. Perfect.I clamp my phone in the holder and it holds securely. And while I don't really take selfies, I use this phone stand to play music on the phone without it taking any space on my desk. I feel like I have an elevated screen right there - it's great.My daughter stole this thing from me for a day because she was working on a drawing project. She clamped her iPhone into the clamp so she could see the image she wanted to use as a reference. Then she turned on the light with gave her plenty of illumination for her entire desk area to work on.I didn't think I really needed a selfie-light, but I'm glad I gave this a try and I use it far more than expected.

I actually purchased this as a small "task light" when doing electronic repair at my desk. I have an iPhone XR and it is held quite securely is I need to record and steps.Other larger task lights I have used are about 6-8" in diameter are just too big for my desk; this lamp is much smaller and can be re-positioned or moved out of the way quite easily since it is a "goose-neck" rather than having the rigid bars holding it up. The multiple brightness settings are useful, but I have kept mine on the brightest setting which works quite well. The light is as bright as the larger 6"-8" lights and has limited soft shadows while working. It is very easy to re-position and stays where placed - I found the larger lights would often "shift" after you set them properly due to the weight of the lamp head itself.It works very well for my purposes, as well as holding phone to review YouTube videos while working on repairs.

HI everyone! I received my Tranesca Selfie Ring Light with Cell Phone Holder Stand for Live Stream/Makeup and more this afternoon. It was packaged really nicely and was so simple to put together. Only one little screw on connection that goes over a steel ball on one of the arms to be able to attach the phone holder. No instructions were needed. I plugged it into my computer's USB and clicked the switch and voila the light turned on. It has 3 buttons for the lights. On makes it brighter, one dims and one changes the type of color of the light from bright to a more luminescent color. The only thing I would say about it that could be better would be maybe a bigger more expanding clip to attach it to tables because right now it will only fit over tables that are about 1 - 1 1/2 " tall. Any bigger/thicker than that and it won't work. But for bedside use if you don't have a thick table or for use by your computer it is really AWESOME.....I am really going to have a lot of fun with this product. I took several pics to show you the different lights but I don't think it shows in the picture. also the Phone clip is super easy to use and just slides apart and then clips securely to your phone, even with a case on it. (Mine has a lifeproof case on it and it fit just fine)

I received mine today (5 hours ago) and my wife is already using it to prepare for her lessons tomorrow. She is using an old iPhone as a projector. She got the idea from Pinterest to use a selfie stick as a stand but we have not found anything sturdy enough...until now! Super sturdy. Easy to use. And the light works great in multiple modes. Highly suggest.

Not being big on selfies, due to them always being horrible, I decided to give this a try. It is quite sturdy and adjustable. Being able to use it hands free is a great option especially for someone who is selfie challenged. There is a more than ample light source that doubles as a portable make up light as well. A great facial recognition feature made it easier to hone in for a better photo. I showed it to my 20 something goddaughters who are already selfie pros, and they also really liked it for the above mentioned features. Give it a try. This item is stronger than you'd think. It is very sturdy and the clip is super strong. It makes streaming very easy, and really helps with hands free. Didn't think I'd ever post a YouTube video, but tried it just to see how this would work and the various light settings plus the ability to move the phone around to different angles was great! Family members have also tried it and I've had to chase them down to get it back. Tried it for make-up too, and the different lighting was super-helpful!

I love this stand/light. I just tried it out with a group zoom call, and everyone was really impressed with the lighting. It was very easy to set up. Just attach the phone holder and you're good to go. It's adjustable so it should fit any phone. The light has three colors and brightening and dimming capability. I love the warm light. It really makes me look radiant. Now all my friends want one! I didn't think this would be enough for audition self-tapes or youtube, but it really is! I'm so impressed.
