Daylight U15320 32-watt Energy Saving Bulb,White

This turned a $8 shop light from home depot into an overpriced artist's daylight lamp (about $80). I clamped it to a $14 standing lamp from target, which turned it into a $114 lamp, and guess what kind of bulb the overpriced models use.... Yup, this one. The kicker is, if you decide to buy the $114 studio lamp, you still have to buy this bulb because it does not come with the lamp. Save your money for more paint.

It fit with a new lamp I purchased that provides perfect natural lighting for reading in my chair rather than the yellow lighting from most led lights.

Let there be light! What a bright light to paint by - really does imitate daylight! Great price.

Excellent light for the artist but disappointed that it lasted just 10 months. I bought it in January and today I turned it on and it went out. I don’t use my studio every day and when I use it the light is maybe on 5 hours at a time. It’s supposed to last 9 years.... no. I bought another one because I like the lighting. I will see how long this one lasts.

I was amazed at how bright and white these are. They replaced small flood lights and are being used as light for painting. It really makes things show up well.

If it is anything like the 20 Watt bulb of the same brand , then I shall be extremely happy with this product.
