Guidelines4quilting 104131 Guidelines Ruler, 6"X12"

I just received this ruler......it took awhile to get here, but I have a project I'm eager to use it on as soon as all the fabric arrives. The ruler will be initiated making my first grand baby's quilt. It has to be a sun quilt with a mosaic blue background that will require some heavy use to make strips all the same size. No one else has anything close to this type of thing on the market, I only heard about it by stumbling onto a blog where the lady mentioned it had become her favorite tool that she picked up at a quilt show. Not many places on the internet are carrying this ruler, don't bother trying to find it in a JoAnn's or Hancocks. It isn't advertised well at all that I can find, but then I'm not a member of any blogs in quilting - how to chose just a couple? Hopes are big and high for this ruler:)

Got this for my wife. She likes it. Uses it for cutting quilt squares. Easy to read. Get a suction cup handle (like used in the shower) for picking it up and moving it - makes life easier. Quality ruler - should last a long time.

Love the accurate cutting! Afraid that the guides will break...they are not too strong...overall though, i am enjoying using this product.

This tool, New to me, gives you confidence when cutting your quilting pieces. Seems to be accurate.

I read about this on one of the quilt sites and it is exactly as described. It works great. It grips the fabric so it doesn't slide, easy to adjust measurements, and has a solid cutting edge. I hope the warranty stands up as so many plastic things break after usage.

Please quilters do not waste your time on this product. Made it very cheap plastic. Very difficult to read extremely disappointed.

I love this ruler!! It helps so much to be able to set your measurement and then just line up the edge and go! Will definitely be purchasing the add ons that work with it. I currently have two of the rulers and will probably be getting a third so I can cut longer pieces without having to fold and for squaring up.

I am enjoying this ruler. I had a hard time cutting straight the stripes and with this ruler I cutting straight. No wavy cut stripes.

Not recommended. Yellow guide/fence is in two parts and they both wobble. Returned the first unit but the replacement was the same. The problem is in the molding and material choice for the fence - cheap soft plastic. It's easier, faster and more accurate to NOT use this ruler.
