Sloggers Waterproof Garden Shoe for Women – Outdoor Slip On Rain and Garden Clogs with Premium Comfort Insole, (Midsummer Black), (Size 10)

I initially ordered Sloggers Premium Garden Clogs (open-heel), but reasoned that the Garden Shoe (closed-heel) would be better for my wobbly ankles than the open-heel model. I normally wear a 9-1/2 Narrow and I have high arches. The size 9 open-heel clogs were too short and too wide, even with two sets of insoles. The size 10 open-heel clogs were much too long and too wide. I returned them and ordered the closed-heel Garden Shoes in a size 10. Eureka! These are my new favorite shoes.My new favorite shoes accommodate two sets of insoles (including the ones that came with the shoes) for a comfortable fit. I wear socks because shoes always fit better and feel better to me with socks. My heel comes up with every step, but this really isn't bothersome; it's what clogs do, and the Garden Shoe really fits like a clog that is both secure and comfortable.I tried some beautiful, high-quality, leather dress clogs in a couple of different top brands. But the hard rocker-bottom contour was not a hit with my high, rigid arches. My Sloggers are so comfortable that they beat out the much more expensive competition. I'm thankful to be beyond the need for fashion to override comfort!I find my new favorite shoes comfortable for walking and standing. My original intended use for my Sloggers was to wear them in the garden and walking around in our pasture, wet or dry, so I wouldn't ruin my leather shoes or boots. I don't like the hassle of putting on and taking off sneakers, and I no longer even own any. Sloggers are ridiculously easy to clean with a hose or a wet paper towel.My Sloggers quickly became my primary shoes; I wear them everywhere now, except to bed. :) I've ordered another pair in the Basic Solid Black to have a pair that will go with anything.I think Sloggers are attractive and comfortable and sturdy enough to go everywhere my life requires me to go: home and yard, errands in town, church, and court to watch my (attorney) husband's trials. I have received compliments on my Sloggers since my first day of wearing them. It occurs to me that cashiers who stand all day would love Sloggers! With the gel insoles I inserted and the thickness of the traction soles, they do make walking and standing on concrete floors less fatiguing. I even tested them on a Wal-Mart trek, which normally leaves my lower back, knees, and ankles feeling splintered. I have fibromyalgia, as well as arthritis in my spine from neck to tail, and in my knees and ankles. I survived Wal-Mart intact with zero pain!I would say that Sloggers are a terrific value and well made in the U.S.A., which means a lot to me. Amazon offers free return shipping on shoes, so there's no risk in trying them. For me, they're keepers.

Have two pair of these sloggers. One of the best thing about them is that they run on the narrow side. For me size 10 fits well with light pair of socks, compared to Crocs witch run so wide and sloppy. Not heavy on my feet and totally waterproof so I wear all seasons in the garden. Easy to rinse off sturdy sole. Comfy padded, removable insert! Good looking and they get lots of compliments.

I purchased 5102BK10 and love them, they are extremely comfortable. The Sloggers are made in America with 50% to 100% recycled material. The shoe doesn't have an oder at all, unless you have a shoe sniffing fetish... I'll leave that one alone.I work at the Home Depot Garden Center and once or twice a week I am scheduled for 5:30 am to water the plants and i need a gardening shoe that keeps my feet dry. I just received them today and immediately tried them on the 10's are perfect, even though my heels flop slightly when I walk, but they stayed on, I make sure I wear low cut no show socks, It doesn't matter if you keep the original insole in the shoe or use you own orthotics, the fit will not change. If you wear a half size go to the next size up. I wear a 9.5 xx wide and i got a 10, the length and width are perfect. This will accommodate a women's medium and wide width. Did I mention they are extremely comfortable.I highly recommend these garden shoes 100%Update:Fist time wearing these for 6 hours straight, They really keep your feet dry, but they hurt after a long time standing and watering plants. since I wore them, I'm keeping the shoes. I need more of an ankle boot since the watering is a bit messy, soaks my jeans and ends up in the shoe.Like this company a lot: made in USA, and made from recycled material... now that's green.

Overall, i like those shoes, i'm glad i've bought them, and plan to use and buy similar shoes in the future. The cons are small compare to the pros of having an inexpensive shoe that is nice, water resistant, and not made from leather, which matters to me. But let me just add the less than perfect aspects: they are nice, but not as nice as in the web picture, they are comfortable, but with only full sizes sold, for "halfers" like me the fit is not lose but bot tight either (and although the size is larger, they still look rather gentle). They are water resistant but you may feel the coolness of the puddle and think you are wet. Plus, if you sweat inside, you will find yourself with wet socks. But so far they don't smell bad, as some more expensive and promises-loaded shoes eventually did. And all that did not prevent me from wearing them a lot and being happy with them.

I love these shoes. I did have some concerns because other purchasers noted the fit was not good for high arches. They are slightly snug on the top of my foot but the length and width are a perfect fit. I can't tell if the material will stretch out over time. I ordered my usual size. The material is definitely waterproof and I can see that it might feel cold in winter and sweaty in summer. This shouldn't be a problem for me. I am so glad to have these so I won't be getting my athletic shoes wet when I am working in the yard and garden. They come with a removable inner sole which helps with the comfort. I wear them without socks right now. I recommend them with the understanding that they might get too cold or too hot and the next size up may be necessary for some.

I normally wear anywhere from an 8 to 9 wide and after reading the reviews I decided to get a size 10 and the half sizer insoles and they fit perfectly with a pair of socks. I am a midwife and bought these to wear at the hospital- where getting various fluids on my shoes is kind of inevitable. They are really easy to wipe clean and comfortable enough for many hours on my feet.
