Rebuilt my old metal wheelbarrow with these and a solid rubber tire. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Had to drill new holes.

The predrilled holes were perfectly aligned;I was able to reuse all of my hardware, only had to purchase the handles, it went together great; it is like a brand new wheel barrel.

To replace my old Craftsman wheelbarrow’s handles, I had to drill some holes to accommodate the existing set. But very strong wood handles- saved me from buying much more expensive new wheelbarrow .

Didn’t want to throw away a perfectly good tub. So, decided to replace the handles and hardware after the old handles disintegrated. Glad I made that decision. The replacement handles worked out perfectly.

If you plan on using these handles on an old, random-brand wheelbarrow instead of an actual Tru Temper brand, then be prepared to do some extra work. I would recommend having a 3/8" drill bit and 3/8" dowel handy because you may have to plug some of the predrilled holes and drill new ones. I ended up having to plug 4 holes and drill 6 new ones. It was a lot more work than I was expecting but I eventually got these handles to fit on my old wheelbarrow.The reason for 3 stars is the quality of he product. One of the handles had a couple inches of bow in it (over a 60" span) and one predrilled holes was way off-center. The other handle was perfect and had neither of these issues.

Used these to rebuild my father's wheelbarrow that is probably 60 plus years old. At least that is the estimate my older brother and I believe since we used it a lot when we were kids and both well into our 60s now. I really couldn't throw the wheelbarrow away. Looking at replacement prices I figured go for the rebuild. These fit perfect with only two additional holes needed. The project came out fine and will now out live me.

The handles were the right length but I had to modify the holes to fit a different make of wheel barrow.So far so good,I have used it for several jobs and has worked out nicely..
