This seems like a decent crossbow
This seems like a decent crossbow, for the price-point of around $100.The directions were kinda minimal, and I never did find the "leather" piece they mentioned (I assumed that the rubberized piece with the 1-side sticky tape was what they were talking about). Assembling the bow was not too bad (but not trivial). I'm glad I also bought a stringer - I couldn't imagine putting the string on without it! I also bought the string with handles to help cock the bow - this really sounds like the best way to do it, and there's even a groove on the bow to loop it around while you're pulling on it.Complaints:o One of the screws to mount the sight didn't have any threads on it (I didn't strip the threads - it just didn't have any, period. it was smooth as a baby's bottom ... see photos of screw, and the replacement I found at Lowes).o Two of the 8 arrows were 'different' (I would have much rather have 8 arrows all the same). The 2 different ones has more of a field tip than a target tip, and the insert you screw the tip into was plastic rather than metal. Also the 2 different ones are slightly heavier.o Several of the arrows didn't have the nock in the right orientation, and therefore the cock feather wouldn't have lined up with the rail (I was able to adjust them by hand).o The photo in the Amazon ad shows the arrows sticking out from the end of the bow. Those are 16" arrows. The 14" arrows that come with the bow do not stick out past the end (and therefore you could not use them with broadhead hunting points). I'm not a hunter and I don't care, but I just don't like that they're showing an inaccurate picture. It's night-time, so I haven't gotten to try this out outside yet, but I did try 1 shot inside to make sure I've assembled it correctly. It shot well, and at point-blank range the 14" arrow went 8.5" into my Block Vault target, and it was easy to pull out.I'm attaching some photos of the things I talked about ...

The crossbow itself works great
I bought this crossbow a few days ago and when i opened it up, everthing looked like it was thrown around, but luckily nothing was damaged because i really like it! I did some research on this bow before I bought it and they were mostly positive, and i would say the crossbow in itself shoots accurately and works nice. I had three problems with this bow: the string looks shoddy and low quality but has so far worked fine, the bolts are fairly cheap as i bent my first one on my first shot through a 1" thick piece of plywood, and finally, this bow was a b-word to string. I used a tie strap, attached both hooks to each end of the prod and around the butt and tightened it that way. I would recommend this to beginner archers

Great value Get it while it lasts.
Great value for the dollar. Had a few issues with delivery ( ups). But it is an excellent choice for a newb. Got a few extra goodies to go along with it (purchased separately). Just can't seem to get enough time to actually use it. The composition material is very durable as was easy to assemble. Some people have a hard time with the bow string it was a problem. (I just hate it when I get out smarted by a bow string). I have probably shot maybe 35 bolts seems accurate just need more range time.

certainly good enough for some target shooting
I bought this for my son to target shoot around our property. Seems to be okay quality, certainly good enough for some target shooting. I took one star off because it came un-strung, with instructions that claimed you could string it by hand. There is no way this can be strung by hand. I had to take it to Bass Pro

Bought for my son who fell in love with it
Bought for my son who fell in love with it. The only down part about this is the bolts that came with didn't take much abuse, the ribs fell off and bent the shaft after a couple misses of the target.

Great bargain!
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice entry level crossbow for target shooting or hunting. Built sturdy, wood stock looks great after oiling up and polishing, and included scope suprisingly holds a zero very well, so that I didn't have to purchase a higher quality scope as I originally planned. I showed this to a friend the other day, and he is now going to purchase one for himself and his daughter. Accurate, built sturdy, and in my opinion one of the best bargains out there for a crossbow!

Good price
Easy set up, but putting on the bow string was a 2 man job. Easy to load, easy to shoot. When string releases from latch it makes a rattling sound. Haven't checked for accuracy as of yet.

Good product for the money
Good product for the money, very easy to setup and is Extremely powerful. My only problem is getting the sighting lined up correctly. Been working on it for 2 days and still off quite a bit not sure what I am missing
