I stopped having 2nd finger problems
Because of using this knife, the soreness of my second finger has gone away. Get rid of the regular knives if you are older like me.

I like this, but...
This was a gift and my giftee loves this knife because it's very easy to use (its ergonomic aspect works well). And so far, it has cut through every thing from crunchy pizza crusts to tough-thick meats. I only wish that they (Etac) would see fit to send me a replacement blade cover. The blade cover is a form-fitting clear plastic, and so to ensure (or so my giftee thought) that it didn't get lost or thrown out, my giftee used a red perm marker to draw lines on it. Even so, *I* somehow I accidentally gathered it up with the trash and threw it away! ﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿ They (Etac) said that the cover is not sold separately. I said that I knew that but that I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for it. Still, they said: sorry but it's not sold separately. So now, to help ensure that no one accidentally cuts themselves, I made a cover out of a file folder--because it's thick. Of course it doesn't fit well at all, but it's the best I can do. Maybe I can get one of my talented artsy/crafty friends to make something for me.

Perfect knife for Carpal tunnel
I have neuropathy in my hands and using a regular knife nearly killed me. This knife is fabulous. It’s super sharp so you have to be careful

What a difference!
I have arthritis and this knife makes a total difference in cutting vegetables and fruit. Takes a little figuring out to change old habits, but it works well. I just finished cutting a pineapple that I use in my green salads as a substitute for tomatoes that are inflammatory. The design makes sense.

Sharp as heck!
Mom used, cut herself VERY quickly testing the blade with her thumb. She said it was super sharp and it took a few minutes to get used to, but she likes the ease of use with her arthritis.Make sure you warn anybody who has this that it is very sharp!

this knife is a miracle
After surgery to replace my thumb due to arthritis, I was having terrible pain trying to chop meat and veggies. I've had this for about a week and have already learned to use it for almost all my kitchen and dining needs.
