KayteeNatural Play-N-Chew Chubby Nest Large

Bought it for my Coturnix quails as hideout, they love to lay their eggs inside, I got the large size and planing on getting more when I make the aviary.

Not quite sure how to rate this. It was delivered on time, was exactly as described. I have a couple of young gerbils, who are nibblers. After putting in their cage, which they have PLENTY of other things to nibble on, the hanging ball was "gone" in the morning. The next morning, the entire nest was "gone". Poof! They nibbled it down to nothing. So they did enjoy it tremendously but it lasted less than 48 hours. So if you have nibblers, beware! It might just go Poof! in the night. So I'll give it 4 stars from my gerbils!

It's funny that five stars means "I love it" - I should say in this case that "My hamster loves it!" This is larger than it appears. If you have a small cage for your hamster, this is too big to fit in. But hopefully you've provided your companion with a large cage or container to live in, in which case this fits in nicely. My hamster ignores the hanging ball, but I think it does add a bit of privacy. She can't burrow down from within it but does like to sit in it and take breaks, and I recommend this to anyone with a pet they love, and a cage large enough to hold it.

The media could not be loaded.  My bunnies love this. They love to chew and play with the ball inside. This is my second one and will continue buying as needed! I purchased a large for my Holland. See video.

Got this for 2 pet rats. After placing in the cage, they didn't touch it for a few days, but then they warmed up to it and have been slowing taking it apart ever since. They have a wooden 'cubby' that they like to sleep in and have been taking the straw from this item and tearing it apart and using it as bedding inside their cubby. For the price, I think it is a fun item for them and recommend it.

when i opened it it left a mess but overall it was put together nicely and shipped quickly and a great toy for hamsters to chew on and play with

The description says the "Large size is best suited for rabbits and chinchillas." I have a 3 month old, 3lb lion head rabbit and the 'large' is way too small. He's not interested at all, not even in the hanging ball at the door. It does appear well made, just not nearly big enough for a rabbit.

The medium fits my two small rats with room to spare. It's a bit flimsy, but they really like it. They enjoy knocking the ball around as they run in and out. Only problem is it's not stable enough for them to stand on top.

Disapointed way to small.
