19 Inch Round Pizza Stone

Huge stone, doesn't quite fit in my oven, but works great on my Weber. Retains heat amazingly. Very thick and solid! Would recommend to any pizzaiolo or baker. Cooks wonderfully crisp pizza crusts and breads by drawing out moisture from the dough and maintaining very high temperatures approaching 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Contacted California Pizza Stones to inquire about cutting the stone so it will fit in my oven and they were very helpful in offering advice. The stone can be cut with a wet tile saw to accommodate specific dimensional requirements. As is, the stone is large enough to make pizzas with diameters as large as any standard New York style pizzeria's "Large" or even "Extra-Large."

This waa the largest stone that would fit my big webber barbeque and what you need if you want to make a proper New York pizza at home. Highly reccomended.

I soooo wanted this stone to work, after reading the other reviews, but....I bought the stone to use in my 22" OldSmokey charcoal cooker. with a whole Weber chimney of charcoal, at 30'mins the stone was only up to 175°, and the stone blocked the heat to the lid. the temperature in the lid only got to 275°. I put on a 16" fresh pizza from Sams. At 30'mins the pizza still wasn't cooked. I was sooo disappointed. And it cost $38 to return it to California Pizza Stone (Amazon purchase) via USPS Parcel Post.

Hair to big for normal oven, works like a charm

Bought this for my daughter who makes many pizzas for her vegetarian family. She loves the stone.

Our pizza comes out crispy and cooked perfectly. Fits in a standard oven 20" deep. I highly recommend this stone.

Amazon didn't have the size i wanted so I had to pay extra in shipping and buy direct from CA Pizza Stone, but this is the brand to buy.So many of the other product reviews talk about bad smells and one would imagine plenty of toxins burning off of the man-made materials and into your pizza. This one is essentially made out of clay ("non-toxic mullite mixture"). I stuck it in my over for an hour at highest temp - didn't smell a thing. Next I put it in my Big Green Egg at 700+ for 30 minutes and then cooked a pizza on it. It was perfect. Just washed the stone with a brush and no soap after it cooled - easy clean-up.You can just feel the quality in this stone. My last one cracked (worked in the oven but the Egg was too much for it). These stones are guaranteed against thermal shock.
