Arcus Memory Foam Seat Cushion -Mesh for Cool Comfort. Sit in Comfort Again

Update 12/7/2015: I removed a star because the cushion has not held up very well after 2 months. It doesn't return to its full thickness anymore and compresses much easier than it did. It still gets 4 stars due to price and it will probably hold up better for someone that isn't as big as I am.I have gone through a few seat cushions trying to find a good one that wasn't crazy expensive. This one fit the bill perfectly. It's a great size and does the job very well. I am a big guy, 6'1", 260lbs, and this if very comfortable. My wife loved it so much she wants me to order one for her to use at work.

I bought the Arcus Memory Foam Seat Cushion for my 91 year old Mom because she is having problems with her spine, lower back and leg pains. I was told by her Dr. a cushion would be very helpful for the pinched nerves however unfortunately she is not able to use it because it is too hard. It does not sink in as other memory foams I have tried do. I would advise anyone who is thinking of buying this product to take into account who is going to use it. It may be fine for someone younger or heavier (Mom is only 93 lbs). But it is very hard and does not have much give to it.

I've been sitting on my cushion for over a month now. I like it. It's a good thickness and provides plenty of comfort for my "too hard" office chair. My only complaint is that it is barely wide enough for my ladies size 16/18 butt. I have to do a lot of adjusting to get it in the right position. Could be a couple of inches wider.

Took this on a 6 hour plane ride and thankful I did. Very discreet, plush and soft and fit my seat just right. So comfortable, I slept 3/4 of the ride both ways and never once needed to adjust during the whole trip. No back, tailbone or hip pain. It adds about an inch of new height to your seating, but presented no problems. At some point, I removed it to feel the difference and quickly replaced it. Amazingly, I can't believe I used to travel without this. I should have bought this years ago. Didn't take up much room in large tote bag along with other travel necessities. Simply folded in half and used 2 extra large rubber bands to secure. Springs back to life perfectly. Comes beautifully boxed, removable zippered plush cover and substantial memory foam. Would definitely buy as gifts for family members who travel often.

A bit too soft, by that I mean it gets flat after sitting on it for a bit. It's basically foam it doesn't have much rebound but ti's really good for a chair.

Fourth cushion I've purchased since my back started hurting from sitting long hours and two days later became the fifth cushion I've ever purchased and today UPS just delivered enough for all of my dining room chairs on poker night. I'm still surprised that these Arcus cushions don't flatten out the point I can't tell I'm sitting on anything like the kind you'd buy in a retail pharmacy or Wally World . If you want to get the pressure off of your tailbone like I do, unless someone else buys you one of these Arcus cushions, I think you'd be hard pressed to do any better. Unless you found a 2 4 1 somewhere, and someone else was paying for them that is. I'd suggest getting a couple so you don't have to wait for delivery of another one. For the price, having a replacement for the future when they are harder to come by might be a wise choice.

This thing is fantastic. I have zero complaints about it. Memory foam is firm but has some give (doesn't flatten out completely, which is nice, and springs back into shape with no problem). The cover is very nice, zipper on it is good. I will likely purchase another for my desk chair at home as well... and possibly one for the car. It definitely alleviates the pain I get in my coccyx from sitting too long (from an old injury). I am quite disappointed with this cushion. The foam is not nearly as dense as my old memory foam cushion. Even though this one measures 3" in height, it quickly compresses down to barely an inch and I can feel the seat though the cushion, even though I am underweight for my height. If I could return it, I would, but shipping apparently costs about half the purchase price. I guess that I will have to shop for a cushion at a brick-and-mortar store.
