This is a sold stand. Very easy to assemble. Comes with the tools you need to put it together - only takes about 5 minutes! Heavy construction. VERY nice that it comes with the carabiner to a hook a swing onto. Don't make our mistake and waste almost $13 on a special hook (that will cost you $7 to return). Also had to return the spring recommended as it drops the seat so low that even a child will hit the base when seated in a swing suspended from this. Our stand doesn't seem to sit level on any surface, however. We had to take it out of the house, off the deck and stake it into the lawn to prevent it from rocking up and down and banging on the floor when our 46 pound child sat in it. She didn't swing violently - it just isn't quite level. Even staked into the ground it pulls the peg from one leg out over and over.

The stand is sturdy and strong and looks to be more than adequate to support a hammock. The hammock chair we put on the stand was too low and rubbed on the base. We had to rig the hook to shorten it so it can be used. I recommend you make sure you hammock/chair will work with this stand. Also the information in the bullet points says it will support 450 lbs but product description says it supports 225 lbs. I do not know which is correct. The finish seams very good and should hold up to the snow, rain and sun. If you need a stand for your hammock I would recommend this one.

Nice stand, seems very sturdy. However, having a hard time getting the chair to hang so it doesn't drag on the bottom of the stand when my 45-lb son is sitting in it. I may have the wrong type of chair? Regardless, the title says this stand is perfect for any chair. I would say it probably works best on smaller ones.

Stand works well, but holes for bolts were not lined up. Was able to finagle one in place, so able to use but very frustrating.

Ordered this for my backyard. Placed order and received teo days later. Shipping is fast and well packed. Good sign. I assembled during the weekend. It is sturdy and looks great. I haven't bought the seat yet. Now, was asking to shop the seat ASAP. Kids cannot wait to try it.

The screws do not line up. We can not screw in because the hole doesn't match up with the screw. It was very heavy duty and would have been a good product if it would have assembled right.
