Squirrels and birds love these peanuts. They are fresh not like some we have bought. We buy about 4 bags a month.

Lovely, clean and fat healthy peanuts. No shells, which is less mess in my yard! My birds & squirrels LOVE them. I 'roast' the peanuts when they arrive, so they are not raw. I have read that raw peanuts are not good to give to wildlife, so to be safe, I spread them about 1" thick on a clean baking sheet and cook them at about 300-350 degrees F for about 20-30 min, until just very lightly browned. I don't add additives, just cook plain as they come. The 10lb bag takes a couple roasting sessions to do the entire bag but that is ok. Store finished nuts in a paper bag or other container. The peanuts don't loose much weight if I slow roast them, and I feel better that they shouldn't pose a possible health threat to wildlife. We also have ate some nuts after roasting, and they taste great with no health issues for me or my hubby. The peanuts from this seller have so far been great quality and I will likely purchase more in the future. We have bought about 30lbs so far and have been happy every time. Thanks!

These are great for squirrels and larger birds. We have to mix them with other seed because it goes quickly. We have tried peanuts in the shell, a favorite for Stellar Jays and squirrels but they are gone within minutes as the Stellar Jays pick them up and fly off with them. I would have liked these to be available in larger bags so I have had to use a different vender. No reflection on this seller because they are of good quality.

I had been buying the Cole’s brand shelled peanuts for years but decided to give these ones a try due to quality inconsistencies with the other brand. I wish I had switched sooner because these are by far the best peanuts I’ve ever bought. I’ve already gone through about 20 bags and each one has been consistent in both size and quality. They’re large enough to use in a mesh feeder without the worry of them falling out as smaller peanuts will do. These peanuts are also fairly soft so I get a wide range of different sized birds nibbling at them. There are never any smashed up ones at the bottom of the bag so there's no waste at all. The birds love them, the squirrels love them, and my garden is a very happy place!
