Is this corn mint (Mentha arvensis) or true peppermint (Mentha piperita)?

I have reported this issue.  It must be removed.  This is NOT peppermint oil.  It is CORNMINT oil mixed with triethyl citrate oil.  Why is Amazon shipping an item that is obviously MISBRANDED?  I do not understand why this has not been removed.  All products which bear SOLD BY: Prime Time Commerce should cease and desist.  I am not an attorney/lawyer but this will eventually be known to one.  I bought the product, in good faith, with knowledge that it was MENTHA PIPERITA (Peppermint Oil) but it has PEPPERMINT OIL splayed across the label and the ingredients labeled as CORNMINT OIL and Triethyl Citrate Oil. It is not correct.  What else do you all need to know?

Menta Arvensis. It is cheap corn mint, not expensive Peppermint. You aren't getting a deal on Peppermint Oil, because you aren't buying peppermint oil. You are being scammed into buying corn mint by a company that fraudulently put "PEPPERMINT" on the label. Look up "Snake Oil Salesmen" if you want a historical definition of what they are doing.

The bottle says mentha arvensis. peppermint oil is mentha peperita. are the products interchangeable or was i lied to?

The main constituents of MPEO are menthol (20–60%), menthone (5–35%), menthyl acetate (1–20%), and menthofuran (0.1–15%). MAEO is dominated by menthol (above 60%) and menthone (4–18%). Menthol is separated from this oil by crystallization and the remaining oil has an appearance and odor resembling MPEO. The dementholized MAEO is used as a cheap alternative to MPEO, but it is easily recognized organoleptically because of its harsh flavor.

False: There is only one type of Peppermint (Mentha Piperita). Anything else is a lie or a scam. There are many different types of mint, however, like Mentha Arvensis, which is what this company is trying to pass off as Peppermint.
