I was never a Tom Cruise fan, so I watched this movie without any expectations beyond watching something for two hours. I found the movie very entertaining and really fun to watch. I have since watched the it several times because I enjoy the action scenes which are really well done and I like the story and the scenery. This is a gorgeous and exciting movie.

Tom Cruise's Ethan was sort of one-note in the first Mission: Impossible. Then the producers tried turning him into the American James Bond in M:I II. This third film finds Ethan as a man desiring to have a normal life with a wife and potential family, but he still gets dragged back in to save the world. Ethan isn't necessarily an extraordinary man, but more so a man who finds himself in extraordinary situations and must take the risks no one else will take with a bit of experience and a bit of luck. He isn't James Bond. He isn't Jason Bourne. He is Ethan Hunt.

OK, maybe you haven't seen what 4K can do to a movie you're used to see in Blu-ray or DVD. This you can see in the 4K version (providing you have a 4K setup) of this movie. Good action flick and watching it again in this version made it a real pleasure.

The Blu-ray version of Mission Impossible 3 looks and sounds great! It's not the absolute best blu-ray quality, but it is very good! This is the best of the first 3 mission impossibles (it's not as good as ghost protocol though) and I'm glad I purchased it! I like the new boxart and amazon literally shipped it to me in 3 days right on christmas eve day when I did standard shipping! Very fast shipping!

I own the last 3 (4-6) and I have never seen 1-3, and they are just as exciting as the last 3. A must have to add to your collection.

I have all the Mission Impossible movies, and not one is a bad movie. They're all awesome!

Cet opus est pour moi l'un des meilleurs si ce n'est presque le meilleur de la franchise. Les scènes d'action sont dantesques, le méchant est vraiment méchant et très bien interprété par le regretté Philip Seymour Hoffman. C'est également le retour en force du fameux thème musical de Mission Impossible. Coté image, celle-ci est très belle, contrastée, un régal. Côté son, un petit bémol : pas de DTS, ni de DTS Master Audio ou Dolby Digital True HD. On aurait aimé un remaster mais bon, il est quand même bien puissant avec de bonnes basses et des effets sonores dans tous les sens au gré des scènes d'action mémorables. Un régal pour installation Home Cinéma bien calibrée. Bref, vous l'avez compris : je vous le recommande.
