Great swing set and fort! Update: Impressive durability in tornado storm
Update: We’ve had this set about 11 months now and it’s been great. We had a tornadic storm in our area about a week and a half ago, and although I don’t think a tornado actually hit the swing set, it was a very intense storm and knocked over the swing set. The side of the fort’s roof got damaged, along with a few other areas of the structure. Thankfully I have a very hand husband (who is also very strong—he picked up the fort and just set it back upright!), and he was able to get it back up and running in a day. For how this set got picked up by the wind and twisted around, I’m impressed with how little it was damaged. I would suggest adding some additional anchors, which my husband has now done, to avoid that situation, but I was shocked that it was salvageable and didn’t have more damage. The slide got bent up at a right angle from where it’s attached and was totally fine. I could not believe we didn’t have to replace the slide. So yes, if I were to do it again, I’d add more anchors from the start, but as it is, I’m very impressed with the quality of this set.Original review:I did a ton of looking before settling on this swing set, and this was twice the price we originally wanted to spend, but Covid is still a thing, and that ship got stuck in the canal, and etc etc etc so choices are limited and everything is more expensive than it used to be. BUT, we still feel that we got our money’s worth on this set. The swings and slide seem to be very good quality and I’m so so glad we went with a set that has a slide that does not have a seam in it!! We added a Swing n Slide saucer swing and now our kiddo has a really nice variety in this little personal playground. Today was the first day it was finished but he played on it all day and so far no issues have surfaced. We will be adding a sealant to the wood soon. I’m also really glad we went with this size, so our tall 5-year-old can stand up in the fort for at least a while longer. He is right around 4 feet tall and he has about 4 inches of head clearance when he’s standing in the covered fort part.My husband said those who have had wood split probably didn’t pre-drill the holes or maybe didn’t install things correctly. It is complex and the directions are not easy to follow. He is very good at this sort of thing, and he did make a mistake at one point where he had to move a board he put on the wrong side. It took him one full day plus about two half days to build it. It wasn’t entirely smooth sailing, but it turned out great. Very happy with this purchase!

Great value for the money
Bought this recently for my 2-yo and she loves it. No more 20 minute drives to find a park, especially since she just LOVES the swings. The 2-swing + rings combo, along with the bench, house, and slide, make it great for 3-4 kids to enjoy at the same time as well.Assembly was not difficult, but does take time. 2 people took 16 hours over a long weekend to put it all together. Key recommendation is to lay out all the pieces in order so you can find them quickly (and ensure you have the right quantities of each). If you pay attention to the instructions and follow closely, you'll be fine. I have a wood working background so maybe a little edge, but overall, this was easy (albeit time consuming) to put together.

Not too hard but little bit time consuming
It is a good and sturdy set. I was worry at first after reading the comments of how difficult it was to assemble. I was then trying to hire a company which wanted to charge me $700 to put it together because they said this set was difficult to put together. I was like “for real?”I was not gonna pay for the service that cost as much as a set, so I started doing it myself.1. It is right that there are lots lots lots of pieces. So before you even start, spend 1 hrs or so to organize all the pieces in the order of number. Trust me. This will help saving you time after you follow instruction manual.2. It took me about 10-12 hrs. It is not hard. Just tedious with measurements. The swing beam might need a second pair of hand.3. I am not a handy man and still got it done in 10-12 hes4. Follow the instructions manual step by step. Do not skip.5. Have two drills - one for drill the hold and one tightening the screws. You dont have to. But it is much faster to drill the holes through the pre-drilled holes to prevent cracking on some of the pieces and speed in the tightening.Other than that, it is not too hard. And it is a definitely a good set for the priceGood luck!

Kids love it, but takes a bit of time to put up
The kids love it. The grownups however didn't lol it takes a ton of time to put together so plan on a two day project with this. The instructions were extremely detailed and easy to follow. Half the screws were labeled incorrectly/ not included. The team they used to deliver it kept "losing" it and it was almost a month late. So keep that in mind if you're planning on gifting this.

Very hard to put together
Love this swing set its very nice . But it took my sons dad and his friend who are very handy 2 days to put together and they literally worked on it from 11am to dark. It doesnt come pre drilled , you have to measure the holes and the directions arent very clear on the screws. You definitley need 2 people who know what theyre doing. Other than that its a great swing set and i like that it comes with anchors to hold into the ground
