Very cute. My 6 year old loves this. I would say it is right for her age. The book shows lots of different types of sea animals and 3 or 4 steps to draw the final picture. You also get one practice page per drawing, but continual practice can easily be done on different blank sheets of paper. Great for Art class!

My 5 year old has become quite the drawer thanks to these books. They are very easy to follow and she doesn't tire of them quickly. The step by step instructions are well written. We enjoy all the drawings she produces from these books.
