Great seller
Overall fantastic quality. The cover is fully intact with no tears. Pages are a little yellow on the outside but that won’t stop me from reading it.Would buy from this seller again.

WOW! Battle Angel is an awesome conclusion to a great series!
This was a good series! I really like the twist that this book offered. The ending was not what I expected but it was good. Maddy's stubbornness was a little to hurtful at times and I wanted to shake her at multiply points in all these books but I guess that's what keeps us on our toes while reading :) I recommend this series. My 13 yr old read them also so they are good YA books.

This series just got worse and worse
=== REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS ===The Immortal City series didn’t quite go the way I hoped it would. I’m not sure if it was necessarily a bad, ending—it just wasn’t the ending that I wanted. Because of that, I’m not left with particularly fond thoughts of the book. The #1 problem for me was the love triangle. This was introduced in Natural Born Angel and it continues in Battle Angel. I thought this whole triangle was a joke. It felt like a completely unnecessary element of the story that was just being used as a plot device to introduce conflict. Because when things are going well, you have to throw a wrench into it to make them more “interesting”. Bleh.I thought it was particularly stupid how Tom died, then Maddy just immediately went back to Jackson and had sex with him. I never felt like she was actually into Tom at all. It was more like she was mad at Jackson and wanted someone else to turn to (that “someone” could have been anyone). Also, the sex Maddy and Jackson had was hilariously bad. It’s extremely vague, as it is in YA, but it’s basically like they’re making out for 10 seconds, Jacks is like, “Do you want to?”, Maddy says yes, and then BAM he’s inside her. She cries out, he says, “Are you alright?” and Maddy says yes.. So, onward!! I mean… LOL! I’d almost prefer fade to black to this. I understand not going in detail, because it’s YA, but LOL. 10 seconds of making out, then he’s inside her? No wonder she cried out in pain, she wasn’t “ready” yet if you know what I mean…On the good side, Battle Angel did have a interesting twist! It seems sooo obvious in hindsight, but I didn’t see it coming AT ALL! So I really enjoyed being surprised like that! But then we get to the ending where I was disappointed again. As I said before, it wasn’t necessarily a BAD ending. It’s just not the ending that I wanted. When I first read Immortal City I fell in love with the angels, but mostly the romance between Maddy and Jackson. Then at the end of Battle Angel, Jackson decides to take the angels back to Heaven, but Maddy chooses to stay behind. I guess it makes sense, and the ending does work, it just feels like a bitter sweet ending. I’m more of a “happily ever after” type girl. I wanted them to get married and have angel babies together. So I don’t know… It wasn’t really a BAD book. I enjoyed parts of it—especially the twist. But there were a bunch of parts that didn’t go “my way”. And god, that love triangle was a total joke.

Exceptional!!
EXCEPTIONAL!!! This was absolutely fantastic! This book kept me riveted at every page, devouring each sentence. I could not put this book down and finished it in a record time for me. I loved it and the unexpected ending caught me completely off guard. Scott had a fantastic idea adding the twist ending. Everyone is so focused on who Maddie would choose, that they completely overlook anyone else in the story. Magnificent Scott, absolutely perfect!!

Loved this book!
This book was a great read. I liked the way that the author created a difficult romantic situation for heroine Maddy, and the twist at the end of the book. I would recommend this book to young people (11-17 ish). I choose to rate this book 5 stars because I love the romance genre and the mystery genre that also intermingled here and there, and because this book was drawing me in the whole time and I never lost interest.

I love his writing style, but...
I enjoyed the first two books of this series profusely. The first book in particular felt fresh and crisp in its writing. This last book felt somewhat different to its predecessors in that it was a good deal more emotionally dark - which isn't necessarily bad - but I found myself somewhat bored by the love triangle. Although Tom was an important character to the plot in the previous book, I felt as though his role as 'the other boy' or the reason for Maddy's guilt was, not so much out of place, but uncomfortable and a little awkward.Likewise, the lead up to the end of the book felt, in spirit, drastically similar to that of Eragon and while I'm in no way suggesting that this book takes attributes from that book, the books seemed to strike the same tone.*Spoiler for both Battle Angel And Eragon. Apologies.*End of the series, Eragon decides to take the dragons across the ocean to raise them in safety. Unbeknownst to him, Elf princess has ascended to the throne, hatched the final green dragon egg and become a dragon rider. Elf and Eragon meet, both eager to share their lives together, however, their chosen fates will once again wrest them apart. Book ends with hope for the future for both sides, but after reading an entire series of emotional ups and downs between two lovers, there is no clear closure and certainly nothing in the way of a happy or sad ending.-In the same way, 'Battle Angel' left me with an unpleasant, luke warm sensation. Yes, neither of our main characters are dead and both of them are on their personal tracks to possible greatness, but due to the build up of emotional heat towards the end of the book, everything felt more than a little anti-climatic. I'm not saying that an ending of this manner will always be disappointing. Neither am I suggesting that I need everything to be black and white, happy or tragic ending. I merely think that the ending of this particular book wasn't done as well as it could have been.A good series of books and I greatly enjoyed reading it. However, I feel the this last book was something of a let down.

Amazing book
I chose 5 stars because this book was full of twists and turns and unexpected actions. This was the perfect end to a fantastic trilogy very fitting for then half human half angel I have come to love. I wish there were more but I know there won't be so I am more than content with the way this book finished
