Riedel Large Microfiber Polishing Cloth for Wine Glasses (Red)

I bought this cloth back in 2018 for under $9.00. Amazing how inflation has doubled the price in 6 years. That being said, this cloth has been great for cleaning my eyeglasses. It removes greasy streaks and doesn't leave any fibers behind. I spray a lens cleaner, then use the cloth. I wash it with my light-colored clothes, not other microfiber towels, to keep it from picking up fibers in the dryer. It is a large cloth so I don't have to wash it often.

This is the original and the classic. I have been in the wine industry for more than a decade and have not ever found a polishing cloth designed better than this. Absorbent, lint free and big enough not to make fingerprints. There are many lookalikes, but the cloth density and absorbency really matters. Absolutely worth the price.

Yo soy bastante fiel a la marca Riedel. Éste tipo de trapos para limpiar y secar copas de cristal fino, los utilizo desde hace ya varios años. Son bastante durables, y además se desempeñan excelentemente bien. El material es grueso, y bastante resistente. Tengo algunos de estos trapos que tienen casi 10 años siendo utilizados, y aunque no funcionan como nuevos, siguen sacando bastante bien, no tengo evidencia de que rayen el cristal. Además, el precio es más que bueno. Yo recomiendo mucho este tipo de trapos, para aquellos que tienen cristalería fina, y quieren conservarla limpia y brillante. Como siempre, es recomendable que después de lavar el cristal, y antes de que se seque el agua, se seque con este tipo de trapos, para que no se generen manchas de agua en los cristales. Funciona bastante bien tanto en las copas, como en los decantadores. Totalmente recomendable.

Certes, c'est loin d'être donné pour une microfibre. Mais, comparé à des microfibres moins chères, ça ne bouloche pas du tout. Et surtout, ça ne laisse aucune trace sur le verre, il n'y a pas besoin de repasser plusieurs fois pour avoir une résultat parfait, ça sèche très rapidement, idéal pour les verres fragiles. En blanc, ça prend les traces, mais c'est loin d'être dramatique.
