A good cable for connecting a network hub or troubleshooting!
I like this 100 foot cable and if I have a network problem I can plug this cable into a network hub and connect a remote device and trouble shoot the connection problem. It is also great for connecting two hubs together to set up a larger network.I used to make my own Ethernet cables, especially if they were long ones. They were so expensive that I would just cringe at the high prices stores wanted for them. These Mediabridge cables are high quality and they are very nicely made. All of the cables I ordered worked fine and I virtually have no complaints.I installed several new Ethernet switches in my home and I needed some good cables to wire up a new Access Point, video security system and to stream videos to several locations. I have a super powerful WIFI network but for speed and reliability you just can't beat a wired Gigabit system. I also use multiple servers to back up my computers.Theses cables are ½ to ¼ the price of the same quality cables sold at other stores. I highly recommend these cables and I am glad I didn't have to make my own again. I purchased multiple length cables and I was happy with them all. All of the cables came with Velcro tie straps to help you roll up the excess cable or to coil it up and put it into your computer bag. I purchased multiple 15 foot, 25 foot, 50 foot and 100 cables. I have no complaints at all. These cables are all still working well and I would continue to purchase them again. Simpler and easier than making your own cables and I was able to route them quickly to rewire part of my home. These cables continue to perform well and they have helped me improve my Ethernet system in my home.

Waste of time and effort
Total garbage , ran this wire from my router to extender outside in the garage and it was a struggle to pull it though the loft.Get everything setup and running to find no signal ran my Klein lan account on it and I get a short message on all wires. No stapling or nails were used , clean pull.

WiFi sucks. Cable rules.
A cheap way to triple your internet connection. Android 6.0 devices (kodi boxes) lost their wifi connectivity for some unexplained reason when Time Warner changed to Spectrum. WiFi speeds dropped from 90% to 30%. Mere coincidence? Can't say. It happened at my house and at my sister's house.Nevertheless, wired is always better than wifi. If you have a crawl space, this 100 ft cable will allow you to run an unseen wire from modem to just about anywhere in a typical house.I live in a mobile home with insulation attached to the subfloor. To install cable, I drilled a 3/4 inch hole through the floor in an unobtrusive corner. Then, I shoved half a regular curtain rod through the hole until it was visible from crawlspace. I then inserted the tip of the Ethernet cable into the slot of the curtain rod and secured it with a piece of tape. Pulled the rod back up, and had cable access.Plugged the cable into an Ethernet gigabit switch and had wired service to remote sections of home.Even after 100ft, I had no noticeable loss of signal strength.

Bought it, cut it up, couldn't be happier.
It felt kinda funny buying a brand new 100 foot cable just to cut the ends of when I opened the box, but for the price, this is a great value. I needed about 85 feet to make some home network additions and for the price I couldn't find anything any better. I've probably made a few thousand RJ-45 connections over the last few decades, and I have to say the quality of this cable was a pleasant surprise. Because the two locations I was wiring required me to run this through some wall studs, it was easier for me to re-terminate them then to drill a half-inch hole for the existing connection. I connected my access point to my router, and I'm getting the speeds I expected. There's not much more I could ask for.

This cord is junk.
I work online and almost lost my job because I kept getting booted from my classes. I went through every fix and my WiFi worked just fine. It turns out it was this cord. So my advice would be not to count on this cord for anything important. It almost cost me my job. I’m really irritated to read reviews for this are incentivized.

Great value on a long cable. Only get as long as you need.
Purchased this for my dearest friend in the world, who owns a gift-shop and needed an ethernet cable run through the attic of her 150+ year old building. I'm a former network engineer that got laid up by medical disability so I was all too happy to help. Just chomping at the bit to do ANYTHING technical again! (BTW, we paid a young skinny guy to do the cable-pulling LOL). I chose this for her because it got great reviews and was recommended by Amazon. This seems to be an awesome, well-made cable. So far it does its job well! Since it goes through an attic that gets hot in summer I don't think we will have to worry because the outer protection is very sturdy and the connector ends seem solid. (Remember that the longer the cable, the greater the attenuation.) For our small-- business application, this works fine and you can't beat the price! Some things are not worth shaving a few bucks off of. Highly recommend you go for this, even though there are cheaper ones at Wally World. In my title I say to only choose the length you need because of attenuation. 100 ft is not that big of a deal for most applications, but if you can get by with a shorter cable, it's always better, especially when hot environments are involved.

Incredibly Durable
This ethernet cable has been a big part of my life for about 6 months or so. When I first bought it, I used it to connect to a wireless wifi extender, which then connected to my computer, because I was having problems staying connected through the wifi. It works incredibly well for the purpose of supplying a faster internet speed, as opposed to wifi. Its incredibly long length is also a huge bonus.I ran this cable outside my house to an extender that was connected to a wall, and it held up through literally every temperature and precipitation. There were times when it was quite literally covered in snow, yet it still worked perfectly fine. The extender was covered with a protecve cover though, of course. It also has not been damaged by UV light fron the sun, yet.All in all, I would highly recommend this ethernet cable. It is durable, long, cheap, and does what it advertises.
