Words Their Way: Vocabulary for Middle and Secondary Students (Words Their Way Series) 2nd Edition

Used this book to lead a professional development course for teachers at my school. We loved using the strategies and reading more about the rational behind teaching Greek/Latin roots and making vocabulary a focus in EVERY classroom. A dense read, but a good one. It comes with fabulous online resources too. Great if you are looking to transform the way you approach vocabulary instruction.

I work as an interventionist in a middle school and I was looking at a way to begin to introduce more multisyllable words to my students but in the context of their other content areas. I look forward to using this text and online resources with my students this coming year.
